Position: Audiobook QA Expert — English (US)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$20–$25/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in English for naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
- Identify and log errors in synthesized speech, including skipped, added, or mispronounced words.
- Categorize issues and mark the exact span using our review tooling.
- Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural or breaks the experience.
- Work consistently across many hours of audio, maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or near-native fluency in English (US / North American English).
- Experience as an active audiobook listener with opinions on quality.
- Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication.
- Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, or linguistics.
- Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.
Preferred
- Experience in AI training-data, model-evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
- Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
