We have an exciting remote work opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Intangible Transfers and Automated Export Compliance System (AECS) to join our team!
What You Will Do:
This role reports to the Director, Global Trade, DT/GT and Automated Export Control Systems (AECS), within the organization led by the Associate Director, Intangible Transfer Compliance Suite, Data & Infrastructure Solutions.
The role will:
- Lead the integration of Global Trade requirements into Digital Technology, ensuring compliance is considered early in projects, applications and technology solutions across Pratt & Whitney and its global sites.
- Act as a senior Global Trade advisor to DT and business transformation initiatives, with broad knowledge of:
- Jurisdiction & Classification
- Authorizations & Licensing
- Tangible & Intangible Transfers
- Sanctions & Screening
- Translate GT requirements into clear business and technology requirements, and confidently explain, defend and challenge them with project teams, DT, business leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Identify compliance risks, gaps and misalignment, provide practical recommendations, and drive issues to resolution or escalate them to the Director when required.
DT/GT Compliance & Technology Ownership
- Own assigned DT/GT technology capabilities, including JC & Authorization tools, Identity Management, Control ID Management and GT employee management solutions.
- Provide GT functional oversight for assigned infrastructure, cloud, data platforms, DevSecOps, AI/Analytics and file-sharing environments.
- Oversee appropriate Global Trade controls and requirements are incorporated into system architecture, processes and technology solutions
Master Data, Recordkeeping & Logging
- Lead GT requirements for master data, recordkeeping and logging, including JC data, country groupings, approvers and tools such as Export Aggregator, Centralized Logging, ExLog and EwidApp.
- Ensure data quality, traceability and regulatory requirements are maintained across assigned systems.
AECS & DT Portfolio Execution
- Co-lead assigned AECS capabilities and workstreams, advancing automation, data-driven controls and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
- Support the Associate Director in managing the DT/GT digital portfolio, including planning, prioritization, delivery tracking, risks, dependencies and budget/resource planning.
- Drive assigned initiatives from requirements through implementation, ensuring business outcomes, compliance objectives and delivery commitments are met.
Leadership & Partnership
- Lead cross-functional teams and workstreams across Global Trade, Digital Technology and the business, using influence to build alignment and remove barriers.
- Represent GT on assigned enterprise and corporate initiatives and ensure business needs, compliance risks and operational impacts are understood.
- Challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve Global Trade compliance through technology, data and processes.
- Provide clear visibility to the Director and senior leadership on progress, risks, decisions and recommendations.
* Travel between company sites as required, approximately 10%.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience in roles engaging compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations using automated export compliance tools such as classification software, SAP-GTS, etc; OR an Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in roles engaging compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations using automated export compliance tools such as classification software, SAP-GTS, etc.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
