The Champions B2B Center Operations Manager will serve as a key strategic leader, driving enterprise-wide growth, operational excellence, and long-term business performance. Champions, a division of KinderCare Learning Companies, partners with school districts and community organizations nationwide to provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years.
This role will lead the development and execution of critical business strategies that accelerate enrollment growth, optimize revenue and profitability, strengthen client & family retention, and enhance operational scalability across a growing national footprint. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, this role will translate business priorities into cross-functional action, aligning field operations, support functions, and strategic initiatives to deliver measurable impact. This leader will use data, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to solve complex challenges and drive transformational change.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance while ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies, standards, and process improvements that drive enrollment growth, revenue optimization, family and client retention, and overall operational excellence
  • Organize and lead cross-functional working sessions to drive decision-making, alignment, and accountability around key business objectives
  • Leverage data, analytics, and business insights to evaluate business performance, enrollment trends, family and client experience, and operational effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations to drive improved business outcomes
  • Support field leaders by driving effective planning, prioritization, execution, and adoption of seasonal and strategic initiatives while fostering strong relationships, alignment, and collaboration across business leadership, field operations, and corporate functions
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics for strategic and cross-functional initiatives, utilizing project management tools and methodologies to track progress, mitigate risks, and drive successful implementation

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, business operations, program management, project management, consulting, or related functions. 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional business initiatives with measurable operational or financial impact
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with experience evaluating business performance, forecasting trends, and developing data-driven recommendations
  • Experience developing and executing strategies tied to revenue growth, profitability improvement, customer retention, and operational efficiencies within a complex nationwide multi-unit environment
  • Strategic and critical thinker who balances long-term objectives with day-to-day execution, effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively across executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
