Your Role at Baxter
The Clinical Consultant provides clinical and application support for both customers and internal sales force related to the Baxter vital sign and cardiology product line delivered in a hospital or clinic setting. The clinical consultant ensures educational programs meet corporate and customer goals and acts as a liaison between Baxter protocol and their customers.
Home Base: This is a remote position with a preferred home base of Minnesota or Florida.
Travel: up to 80%
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with sales team during the sales cycle and participate in presales activities (onsite meetings, conference calls, demonstrations, etc.) and clinical evaluations.
- Provide clinical assistance and customer training regarding intended use of the vitals and cardiology product lines and conduct post-training follow-up with customer.
- Provide account management support by identifying potential or actual customer complaints/issues and act as a liaison between sales team and customer to reach problem resolution.
- Identify training needs within the sales force and work directly with marketing teams to develop training plans and provide new or refresh training where necessary
- Identify needs and gather customer suggestions for product enhancements and collaborate with business and project management in making product enhancement recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of training and customer communication, providing updates to Salesforce.com and clinical manager.
- Participate in clinical on-call program which requires employee to support customers for clinical calls on a one-week rotational basis (Mon-Fri)
- Ability to travel 80% to hospital and clinical settings, overnights requited.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelors Preferred
- Minimum of two years in critical care, emergency department, post-anesthesia, telemetry unit, or other related health practice.
- Experience as an educator in training medical and non-medical personnel, either through formal staff development or preceptor program.
- Possesses knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia, hemodynamic, pulmonary artery, and cardiac output monitoring
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Experience as an educator or public speaker.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
- Proven ability to build relationships with people easily yet work independently and be self-motivated.

The estimated pay range for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
