Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Evaluation Paralegal to join our team on-site in our Burbank office. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in employment litigation or pre-litigation. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing intake files, speaking with clients, evaluating the legal strength of potential claims, and drafting clear recommendations for attorney review.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze intake files and identify potential employment law violations, damages, and liability.
· Conduct client interviews to gather and clarify critical facts.
· Assess claim viability and prepare written case evaluations.
· Make clear, well-supported recommendations to attorneys.
· Collaborate with attorneys during the case underwriting process.
· Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation in the case management system.
Qualifications:
· 1–2 years of experience in employment law, litigation support, or pre-litigation evaluation.
· Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
· Excellent writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
· Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Detail-oriented with strong time-management and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
