Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Speedlane, you will leverage your full-stack knowledge to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into actionable features, while effectively communicating with clients to align expectations and provide technical guidance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to take ownership of projects, and a proactive approach to collaborating within a fast-paced development environment.
We value candidates with strong full-stack knowledge, while also appreciating deep expertise in a specific area such as backend, frontend, DevOps, or other specialized domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Lead the end-to-end design and development of web and mobile applications. Implement high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions using different programming languages, like React, React Native, and Node.js.
- Database Management:Design, implement, and optimize scalable databases. Ensure data integrity, availability, and consistency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into actionable development tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Architecture: Architect solutions that are modular, scalable, maintainable, and reusable. Ensure that all solutions are aligned with the latest industry best practices and standards.
- Code Reviews:Lead code review sessions and mentor engineers, helping them elevate their technical skills and adhere to coding best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the full-stack development realm. Drive the adoption of new techniques, tools, and practices to continuously improve our systems and processes.
- Client Communication: Handle and communicate effectively with clients to align expectations and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong understanding of modern web and mobile application development paradigms.
- Strong full-stack knowledge.
- Experience with database design, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment and management is a plus.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
