About the job
We are seeking a Global Sales Business Partners Sr. Manager (SBP) to drive the Sales Operations rhythms and strategic projects across Field Sales, Specialists, and Partners. Serving as a hands-on operational manager with high exposure to senior sales executives, you will champion a sales-first mindset, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with deep go-to-market (GTM) and Project Management knowledge, and enterprise-scale software/tech experience in sales strategy, planning, and operations. Success in this cross-functional role relies on building tight alignment with peer Sales Operations leaders, including Strategic Operations, Sales Compensation, GTM Analytics, and Enablement, as well as company-wide teams like HR, Finance, Marketing, and Product.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the execution of multiple rhythms of our operating cadence with Global Sales leaders.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and growth.
- Partner with each BP in our organization, and other roles in the broader organization, to support leadership requests, drive high impact projects and ensure alignment of deliverables across different regions.
- PM the highest level reviews of Sales Performance, ensuring data is populated, accurate, insights are entered by multiple stakeholders, and deliverable within the timeline.
- Provide business performance insights; facilitate decision-making.
- Produce recurring & ad hoc exec business updates.
- Engage & deliver on localized planning & sales ops activities.
- Drive local implementation & adoption of transformational programs and sales initiatives
- Identify, plan and execute according to local needs.
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Sales Ops peers to ensure SBPs adhere to and execute Strategic Ops defined “playbook” on how we run and plan the business.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR, systems, marketing, product and other teams to align strategies, execution and deliver on business outcomes.
- Work in close alignment with the BP leadership on standardizing deliverables and operations.

*Required:
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, sales, strategy consulting; minimum 2+ years directly partnering with senior software/tech sales leaders ($1B+ sales orgs).
- Proficiency in sales planning and operations including sales coverage, segmentation, territory planning, sales compensation strategy and executing a rhythm of business (MBRs, QBRs, etc).
- Problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and align senior leadership and teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years' of experience; graduate degree a plus.

Location
This role will be remote, but is NOT eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

Compensation
*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont : $141,520.00 - $176,900.00
- Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $149,840.00 - $187,300.00
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $166,400 - $208,000
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
