At CONMED, Internal Audit promotes the effective and efficient use of our resources through implementation of compliance controls, value added projects and cost savings and avoidance opportunities. We are seeking a driven and financially savvy SeniorInternal Auditorto join the team.
As a Remote SeniorInternal Auditor , you will support the completion of annual Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and the annual internal audit plan, which may include Financial, Operational, IT, Compliance and select third party audits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOX
- Provide SOX status reports
- Obtaining and testing of sufficient evidential matter
- Conduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments
- Test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy
- Report discrepancies
- Prepares audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluated
- Execute internal audits within established business process controls
- Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate
- May facilitate work of external auditors
- Participate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processes
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or another related field
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit /internal audit.
Preferred Experience:
- Audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operations
- Experience with data analytics, audit testing etc.
Expected Travel 0-20%

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,074 - $99,788. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
