#### Job Description
The person in this role will be part of a team that helps clients get the most out of the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related productivity technologies, such as Slack) to create value for their business or organization.
They will also assist clients with system integration, process automation, and efficiency gains. This typically involves providing expert advice and designing practical solutions for product configuration, migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning.
As an Atlassian Technical Consultant, the successful candidate will also participate in pre-sales by offering solutions, providing estimates, and formulating proposals. They will naturally be expected to stay up to date and deepen their knowledge of Atlassian products, related technologies, and other collaboration tools, such as Slack.
Advising clients on Atlassian solutions.
- Leverage your knowledge of Atlassian products to gather and analyze requirements, research and present solutions to clients, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Communicate regularly with various stakeholders.
- Participate in pre-sales by helping to define scope and estimate projects, as well as designing solutions.
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing and improvement.
- Visit clients and work on-site as needed.
Implementation and delivery of Atlassian solutions.
- Install, upgrade, and migrate Atlassian applications and related technologies.
- Design and implement Atlassian solutions tailored to client needs, e.g., workflows, add-ons/scripts, configuration.
- Write scripts in Groovy or Java.
- Administer databases and requests.
- Ensure web integration of Atlassian and other applications using the REST API.
- Administer systems (Linux and Windows), particularly application servers.
#### Qualifications
**Essential**
- Experience in technical consulting, software development, and with Atlassian tools.
- Experience in scripting (Groovy or Python).
- Experience in system (e.g., Linux and Windows) and database administration.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in presenting solutions to clients based on their requirements.
- Experience in writing and producing technical reports.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Initiative, high ambition, and tenacity.
Desirable
- Experience in web integration using the REST API.
- Experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience in a fast-paced, evolving tech startup environment.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements related to application scalability, availability, and security.
