### **About Us**

First impressions matter. TaskRay is on a mission to ensure businesses get off to a great start with a flawless customer experience once the opportunity is marked Closed Won. TaskRay is the leader in post-sale work management in the Salesforce ecosystem. We help companies make the transition from sales to customer success frictionless, driving greater efficiencies and creating unmatched customer experiences – all within Salesforce.

**Culture is at the heart of TaskRay.** We look for team members who share our values and bring them to life in their own ways. If these resonate with you, TaskRay could be the place for you:

**Connection.** Cultivate authentic connections with customers, partners, and each other. We believe in a customer-first mindset across everything we do, continuously learning and focusing on the ‘We’ rather than the ‘I’.

**Integrity.** We are transparent, sharing information and feedback freely. We infuse every action with honesty, fairness, and respect for customers and colleagues alike. We do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

**Hunger.** We have high expectations and expect high performance of ourselves and our teams. We constantly look to innovate and improve, unleashing our creativity and persistence to find solutions and deliver exceptional results.

**Thrive.** We love what we do and bring our best selves to work every day. We show up as real human beings who speak from the heart, value others’ contributions and invest in each other’s growth.

### **The Role**

TaskRay helps the world’s biggest enterprises accelerate onboarding and revenue with state-of-the-art, AI-driven project management. This world is quickly evolving: agents can now do things that used to require a person to manually manage task lists and forms and gantt charts. Today we’re on the forefront helping our customers work out how to get people and agents to work together in the most productive ways. That is the product area you would own, and it is being defined right now.

You decide what gets built and why. You turn real sales situations into clear requirements, and you design for a product that customers extend with their own agents and workflows. It is a strategy and execution job, and it comes with unusual access: to customers, to sales, and to the executives setting direction.

This role is a senior individual contributor on Product, with no direct reports but a lot of reach. You work day to day with Sales and Customer Success on deals, renewals, and discovery, and with Engineering and Solutions on delivery. You bring your area's requirements, designs, and priorities to Product Council, where product and commercial leaders review them together.

**What this role is really like.** There is no settled playbook for the AI side of this yet, and that is the point of the job. You would help keep a trusted product healthy while reshaping it for the future. If you want a big PM org with established processes, this is not the right fit. If you want to help shape what this category looks like next, it is.

### **What You’ll Do**

#### **Product Definition**

- Prototype to test ideas, and write PRDs to get everyone aligned. You need both.

- Write PRDs that start from goals and the jobs customers are trying to get done, then work down to journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria clear enough to build from and defend at executive review.

- Ship rough versions to opted-in customers early, watch how they actually use them, and adjust. Match polish to how proven the bet is.

- Own the problem, the priority, and how success is measured. Leave the how to engineering, and weigh in when they raise tradeoffs.

#### **AI and Agent Product Work**

- Define agents, skills, and workflows that customers own and can extend, built for a product where people and agents are both users.

- Find out which AI workflows customers will pay for through design-partner work and tested bets. Let pricing and packaging follow demand you have proven, not lead it.

- Design for what happens when things go wrong, not only the happy path: audit trails, permissions, rollback, evaluation loops. Our agents run inside customers' Salesforce orgs, so a misbehaving agent breaks trust. How the system fails matters.

- Use AI tools in your own work (discovery, PRDs, prototypes, analysis) and coach other PMs and product owners on the craft.

#### **Customer Discovery**

- Run real discovery. Frame the questions worth answering, design tests that give clear answers, and spend meaningful time with customers and prospects learning what is forcing their hand and where today's options fall short.

- Get from a conversation to something you can demo in days. A working prototype is often the fastest way to prove demand, and often the thing you pre-sell.

- Map the whole buying group, not just the user: the economic buyer, the integration owner, procurement, and whatever actually decides adoption.

- Run the design-partner motion for your area. Pre-sell a focused version of the vision to a handful of prospects before the product fully exists, and set up each engagement so what you learn turns into product you can repeat.

- Tell real demand from polite interest. Treat complaints, requests, and excitement as things to investigate, not proof anyone will buy.

#### **Commercial Partnership**

- Share commercial strategy with sales for your area. Get into deals and renewals early instead of waiting for an invite, point conversations toward things we can build and sell, and earn your sales and CS partners' trust.

- Bring what you hear in the field into pricing, packaging, and positioning.

- Feed deal and renewal lessons back into the roadmap, so what the team builds ties to real pipeline, commitments, or expansion.

- Work with Customer Success on rollout, adoption, and what customers hear before a change reaches their orgs.

#### **Delivery Partnership**

- Treat engineering as an equal partner. Agree on the problem and the definition of success up front, then let them own how it gets built.

- When an area spans internal engineering and outside delivery partners, keep the scope lines clear and flag changes before they slip by.

- After launch, measure adoption against the PRD's success criteria and carry what you learn into the next round.

### **What You Bring to the Table**

- 3+ years in product management for B2B or enterprise SaaS, preferably owning an area from discovery through adoption.

- Track record of decisions that moved the business, with specifics: named accounts, revenue saved or won, deals turned around.

- Hands-on prototype building with tools like Claude, Lovable, or Cursor. Building, not evaluating. You have made something a customer saw or a team used.

- Real fluency with AI systems: prompt design, an honest read on what LLMs cannot do, experience building evals, and judgment about where a human belongs in an agent's loop.

- Strong PRD writing: requirements a team can build from without constant back-and-forth, organized around user goals rather than a preferred solution.

- Commercial range: comfortable on discovery calls, in sales conversations, pitching a vision to enterprise buyers before the product exists, and in a QBR.

- You have worked where product owns the what and why and engineering owns the how, and you made that line clearer, not blurrier.

#### **Preferred:**

- You have designed agent or conversational experiences and know a good one from a bad one, or worked with agent frameworks, MCP, and products used by machines as much as people.

- Forward-deployed, solutions, implementation, or professional-services background. Time spent building in customer environments counts for a lot here.

- Salesforce experience: managed packages, AppExchange, or building within platform limits.

- Background in onboarding, project management, PSA, or post-sale workflow products, including early-access or design-partner programs.

### **Compensation**

Cash compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. The estimated salary range is between $140,000 - $180,000 per year. This position is also eligible for bonus based on company and individual performance targets.

Additionally, TaskRay offers highly competitive non-cash compensation including:

- Medical, dental and vision benefits (99% employer paid for employees)

- Flexible PTO

- Every other Friday off (Fri-yay!)

- 12 weeks paid family and medical leave; 16 weeks for birthing people

- Company-paid life insurance

- 401k matching

- Cell phone reimbursement stipend

- Wellness stipend

- Vacation bonuses

- Anniversary bonuses

- Employee Assistance Program

### **Location**

This position is remote **(U.S. only**). While TaskRay has a physical office in the Denver area, we also have team members located across the United States. For employees located within Colorado, we’re thrilled at the opportunity to meet periodically in person, for both professional and team building events. And for those outside Colorado, we’ll connect virtually and see you in person at our all-company and other customer/team events (up to 10% travel time).

### **We Value Diversity**

TaskRay is an inclusive culture embracing the value of a diverse workforce in all roles, at all levels of the organization. We work to give all qualified applicants equal opportunity and to make decisions based on job related factors. We ask that you do not disclose any information on the application which could indicate your race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, genetic information, veteran status, or any other status protected by law or regulation and we encourage applicants who meet some but not all qualifications to apply.
