Role Summary Are you an organized, communicative, and detail-oriented professional looking to start or accelerate your career in IT Project Management? As a Junior Project Manager at NetForemost, you will work closely with Senior PMs, software engineers, QA testers, and UI/UX designers to support the day-to-day coordination of Agile software development projects. You will help keep teams aligned, maintain project documentation, assist in Agile ceremonies, and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders—all while learning industry best practices and leveraging modern AI tools. Position Overview
As a Project Manager at NetForemost, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of software development projects throughout the sprint lifecycle.
You will work closely with clients, developers, QA engineers, designers, and leadership teams to ensure project visibility, team alignment, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and communication skills with an understanding of Agile methodologies, project metrics, and software development processes.
Key Responsibilities- Agile Support & Coordination: Help facilitate daily standups, sprint planning support, and sprint reviews alongside the team lead. - Task & Backlog Management: Maintain and organize user stories, tasks, and project documentation in Jira and Confluence. - Team Alignment & Blocker Tracking: Follow up on daily progress, identify potential risks or blockers early, and help clear paths for engineers and designers. - Client & Stakeholder Communication: Draft meeting summaries, action items, and weekly progress reports for clients and internal teams. - Delivery Support: Track project status, deadlines, and basic team metrics to ensure visibility across the sprint lifecycle. - AI-Powered Workflow: Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to streamline administrative tasks, draft documentation, and analyze project notes efficiently.
Requisitos
- Background/Interest: Bachelor's degree or current studies in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.- Foundation in Agile: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and software development lifecycles (certifications or coursework are a plus). - Tech Tooling Familiarity: Basic exposure or hands-on experience using project management software like Jira, Trello, or Asana. - Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English B2+/C1 is required for international client interaction). - Proactive Mindset: High sense of ownership, willingness to ask questions, curiosity, and eagerness to learn fast. - Technical Curiosity: Basic familiarity with software concepts (APIs, web/mobile apps, QA testing) to effectively communicate with technical teams. Nice-to-Haves- Previous experience in an internship, project coordination, or Scrum Master support role in tech/software. - Basic familiarity with AI tools for productivity and task organization. - CAPM, PSM I, or Scrum Master fundamental certifications.
