Description/Responsibilities
Our Senior Technology Operations Owner is a key member of our WholeHealth Living (WHL) Technology team, bridging application administration, systems analysis, and project delivery. This role helps ensure WHL applications remain stable, efficient, and aligned to business needs while supporting cross-functional technology initiatives and serving as backup to the Senior Systems Administrator.
Systems & Applications Administration:
- Serve as backup systems administrator for WHL applications, with emphasis on claims, utilization management, network management, and internal/external integrations.
- Support application stability, availability, performance, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and vendor release planning in coordination with the Sr. Systems Administrator.
- Provide application support, prioritize issues, manage internal tickets, and coordinate vendor cases through timely resolution.
- Document support processes and contribute to end-user training to improve adoption and proficiency.
Applications Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyze WHL application performance, workflows, data flows, usage patterns, and operational metrics to identify improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business, product, operational, and technology teams to translate requirements into actionable system enhancements.
- Evaluate new features, integrations, and vendor capabilities; develop recommendations and business cases for adoption.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and optimization initiatives.
- Partner with the Sr. Systems Administrator and leadership to align technology capabilities with business strategy and regulatory requirements, including Medicare and CMS.
Technical Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate technology projects, including application upgrades, integrations, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
- Capture, validate, maintain, and track requirements to support successful delivery.
- Facilitate communication among technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and vendors, translating complex concepts into clear business terms.
- Track project progress, produce status updates, and report outcomes against defined success criteria.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities
- Strong understanding of applications supporting claims management, utilization management, practitioner recruitment and network management, inbound and outbound client files, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, regulatory requirements (e.g., Medicare, CMS), and security standards.
- Demonstrated experience in technical project management, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, delivery oversight, and structured project practices.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and business processes and translate findings into practical, measurable improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and anticipate changing business and technology needs.
- High degree of organizational awareness, with the ability to connect details to the broader business context.
- Experience applying Agile project management practices in technology or application delivery environments preferred.
The salary range for this opportunity is $96,600 to $135,000. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
