Internal stakeholders including staff, hiring managers, and executive leadership; external stakeholders including candidates, universities, PEOs, immigration attorneys, staffing vendors, and confederation partners.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Every person who joins Oxfam America should experience a hiring process that reflects who we are: thoughtful, inclusive, equitable, and grounded in respect.

We are looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner who can bring that experience to life. You will manage full-cycle recruitment, help hiring managers make consistent and equitable decisions, and create an onboarding experience that prepares new employees to contribute from day one.
You will join a mission-driven organization working to end poverty and injustice by addressing the inequalities that cause them. Our work includes lifesaving support during crises and advocacy for economic justice, gender equality, and climate action.

This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys both sides of talent acquisition: building relationships with people and building the processes that help people succeed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment
•Manage recruitment from job scoping and intake through ongoing outreach, screening, interviews, talent evaluation, references, background checks, and employment offers.
•Partner with hiring managers to design, execute, and manage recruitment plans, establish hiring timelines, and an equitable, structured selection process.
•Coach hiring teams on inclusive recruitment practices and the effective use of our ATS (Applicant Tracking System), SmartRecruiters.
•Craft engaging, transparent job advertisements for use on targeted career and social media platforms that clearly define the role’s scope and promote employment opportunities.
Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment
•Create and monitor robust talent pipelines, while maintaining a timely, respectful, and equity-focused candidate experience at every interaction.
•Cultivate and optimize relationships with diverse professional networks, agencies, universities, community organizations, and other outreach partners to broaden our talent reach.
•Represent Oxfam America at virtual and in-person career events.
•Design talent analytics to track pipeline health and key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, acceptance and retention rate), and report on recruitment outcomes.
Cultivate a Welcoming and Engaging Onboarding Experience
•Facilitate a consistent, welcoming onboarding process for new employees.
•Develop role-specific onboarding experience with hiring managers and internal partners.
•Facilitate biweekly new employee orientation sessions.
•Lead the operational logistics for onboarding across Human Resources, hiring departments, Finance, and Technology and Information Management.
Cultivate a Welcoming and Engaging Onboarding Experience
•Ensure timely, compliant completion of Form I-9, E-Verify, tax forms, policy acknowledgments, and other required employment documentation.
•Enter and maintain accurate employee information in applicable HR systems.
•Partner with Technology and Information Management and the hiring management team to ensure employees have the equipment, access, and support they need.
•Gather feedback from new employees and managers to assess, refine, and strengthen the onboarding experience.
Manage Intern, Fellow, and Volunteer Programs
•Lead recruitment, onboarding, tracking, and management of intern, fellow, and volunteer programs.
•Partner with managers to establish assignments, learning objectives, supervision expectations, and program timelines.
•Develop and implement outreach strategies to cultivate relationships with diverse universities and constituencies.
•Maintain required documentation and support compliance with applicable labor laws and educational agreements.
•Monitor participation and outcomes and recommend program improvements.
Systems and Practices
•Maintain accurate analytics and recruitment information in SmartRecruiters, Unit4 Business World, ADP Workforce Now, and other applicable systems.
•Maintain recruitment tools, templates, process guides, and standard operating procedures.
•Analyze recruitment and onboarding data to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
•Ensure recruitment and onboarding records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
•Partner with HR colleagues to improve efficiency and efficacy without losing the human connection candidates and employees deserve.
•Perform other duties reasonably related to the position.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
•Will stay abreast of professional standards, trends, and issues affecting this set of responsibilities, demonstrating continuous learning of the field.
•Will work effectively and collaboratively in support of building a team-based, problem-solving work culture treating all persons with dignity and respect, and will be familiar with and committed to Oxfam America’s mission, values, and goals.
•Will have a fundamental understanding of gender justice and diversity within key areas of responsibility and a commitment to promoting gender justice, racial equity, and diversity in our workplace and programs.
•Within key areas of responsibility, will have a commitment to and be accountable for activities contributing towards a safe and accountable workplace environment, projects, and relationships for staff, partners, and the communities we serve.
EDUCATION
•Degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE AND CORE COMPETENCIES
•At least 7 years, or equivalent, experience in talent acquisition, recruitment operations, onboarding, or a related human resources function.

•Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
