About Job
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET on Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to the development of scalable APIs, Azure Functions, and cloud-native services.
- Work with existing codebases, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and agile development processes.
- Build and maintain integrations with databases, messaging systems, and other platform components.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and production monitoring efforts.
- Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and operational incidents.
- Follow engineering best practices related to code quality, testing, security, and documentation.
- Continuously learn and develop expertise in Azure cloud services and modern software engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing applications using C# and .NET (.NET 6+ preferred).
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Core Web APIs and backend service development.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, or Service Bus.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including source control and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and domain knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and RESTful API design.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
- Interest in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and modern architecture patterns.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications, data pipelines, or analytics platforms.
