About the role
Moonshot is currently looking for an analytical, creative, and detail-oriented digital advertising professional to support the design and implementation of paid media campaigns. These campaigns—implemented across search engines, social media, and other digital platforms—advertise violence prevention resources and services to individuals engaging with harmful content online, or to community members worried that someone they know might engage in harmful behaviors.
The Digital Advertising Coordinator, under the oversight of a Campaigns Manager, will support the technical setup, management, and maintenance of these digital campaigns. This will include monitoring campaign performance and troubleshooting, testing the efficacy of campaign assets (ads, websites), and analyzing campaign performance to identify opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and data analysis skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of how to implement ad campaigns across digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads), and how to use website analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4).
This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Ontario, Canada, due to employment and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the technical implementation of paid media campaigns across various digital platforms including and not limited to Google Search, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Quora, Reddit, Rumble, 4chan, and other similar platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot campaigns, generating regular reports on campaign performance to highlight key insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess technical viability of implementing advertising campaigns across various digital platforms (e.g. Roblox, Discord, Snapchat).
- Monitor and analyze campaign engagement data, including keyword performance and audience demographics.
- Coordinate with the Campaigns Manager and other team members to contribute to the technical development of campaign assets.
- Use analytic tools to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
- Contribute to campaign measurement and evaluation activities, including data tracking and quality assurance.
- Contribute to project management activities, where appropriate, including campaign spend tracking, project reporting, and workload tracking through Monday.com.
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Familiarity with a variety of digital advertising and social media platforms and social media analytics tools.
- Experience managing paid campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and in a hybrid (or fully remote) office environment, across different time zones.
- Demonstrable ability to work under pressure, taking action and getting things done, both in managing your own workload and assisting with that of others.
- Inquisitiveness and adaptability, particularly in relation to new and alternative approaches to campaign strategy and implementation for niche audiences (e.g., individuals engaging with online harms, or who might be on a pathway to violence).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, and will be required to undertake and pass a standard background check, along with any relevant security clearance procedures per client needs.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and understanding of SEO/SEM.
- Knowledge and understanding of GEO.
- Experience in managing campaign implementation across a wide range of traditional and non-traditional digital platforms.
- Experience navigating , Google Drive, and Slack professionally.
- Fluency in languages other than English.
