ABOUT ROCKET DOCTOR
Rocket Doctor is a digital health platform and marketplace that breaks down obstacles limiting access to quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective healthcare. Our proprietary technology equips doctors with the tools and infrastructure to operate successful virtual and hybrid practices and deliver care to patients who have historically faced difficulty accessing it, including rural communities and patients covered by Medicaid and Medicare.
By combining virtual care, connected medical devices, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, Rocket Doctor is building new ways to connect patients with equitable, accessible healthcare regardless of age, location, or financial circumstances.
Rocket Doctor has supported hundreds of physicians and hundreds of thousands of patient visits across Canada and is continuing to expand its physician network and clinical programs throughout the United States, with an initial focus on California, New York, and Maryland.
Notable Highlights:
- Rocket Doctor joined Rocket Doctor AI (formerly AI), becoming a publicly-traded company in the Spring of 2025.
- We have been selected as a clinical partner for grant-funded programs supporting senior care in New York City and care for marginalized urban populations.
- We have established relationships with major government and commercial payers in our active U.S. markets.
- We are preparing to expand our physician network and clinical services in Florida.
This is an opportunity to help shape Rocket Doctor’s growth in Florida at an early stage and expand access to high-quality care across the state.
DESCRIPTION:
The Florida Physician Lead will help develop and support Rocket Doctor’s physician network and clinical operations in Florida.
Working closely with the U.S. Medical Director, other Physician Leads, and Rocket Doctor’s Provider Success, Credentialing, Operations, and Product teams, the Florida Physician Lead will:

- Recruit and engage physicians interested in joining Rocket Doctor in Florida.
- Participate in physician recruitment, informational, and onboarding calls.
- Partner with Provider Success and Credentialing to monitor onboarding and identify barriers or delays.
- Help new physicians become familiar with Rocket Doctor’s clinical workflows, EMR, platform tools, and support resources.
- Advise the team on Florida-specific clinical, regulatory, physician, and patient-access considerations.
- Help identify physician availability and clinic-coverage needs as the market develops.
