Position Summary
As an Executive Functioning Coach, you will provide evidence-based coaching to children, adolescents, and young adults facing daily challenges with executive functioning and task management. You will help clients build practical strategies to improve organization, planning, time management, task initiation, and independence across home, school, and community settings. Partnering closely with our interdisciplinary care team, you will implement individualized, skills-based plans that drive lasting functional outcomes.
We welcome candidates from backgrounds in Special Education, Reading/Learning Support, School Psychology, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology to help clients build practical strategies for home, school, and community settings. This is a fully remote opportunity.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Deliver Virtual Coaching: Conduct 6–10 weekly virtual coaching sessions (45-minute sessions + 15-minute documentation).
- Build Real-World Tools: Create practical family resources, handouts, and actionable strategies to reinforce skill-building between sessions.
- Collaborate Interdisciplinarily: Partner with the Specialty Services Team and participate in weekly team consultations.
- Support Peak Hours: Maintain client availability during high-demand family times (weekday evenings between 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM or weekends).
What Makes You, You
- Subject Matter Depth: Strong understanding of executive dysfunction (ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety) and how it affects daily routines.
- Practical Strategist: Proven ability to translate complex cognitive concepts into simple, real-world tools tailored to a child's age and learning style.
- Collaborative Communicator: Excellent rapport-building skills with children, parents, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Tech & Compliance Savvy: Comfortable navigating EMR platforms and managing patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
The Basics You’ll Need
- Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, OT/COTA, SLP/SLPA, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field (equivalent practical experience considered).
- Experience: Direct experience supporting executive functioning, learning differences, or skill-building in educational, therapeutic, or pediatric settings.
- Licensure: No formal clinical license required; relevant professional certifications or credentials are welcomed.
Salary Range
$30—$35 USD
