Position Description:
We are recruiting a QSF Project Analyst to support Multiple data management and administrative functions, in a detailed, accurate manner. This includes supporting Project Directors, Managers, and Coordinators in the day-to-day data analysis required to efficiently distribute payments.
We’re looking for someone who can turn data into a story—looking beyond the numbers to derive actionable meaning that is then succinctly communicated to the appropriate teams to take action. The work of the QSF Project Analyst will be vitally important to Milestone’s development, as they will serve to improve our overall processes and our clients’ experience working with us.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Qualified Settlement Fund (“QSF”) administration team across all projects
- Analyze, interpret, prepare, and/or manipulate high volume of financial data to determine eligible payments to personal injury plaintiffs, their attorneys, and the court
- Interface with various operating systems to track real-time data and maintain statuses
- Collaborate with technology and treasury teams to facilitate submission of tickets and payment requests
- Provide volume-related backup to the solutions team as-needed to answer claimant calls to help on Pathway® specific tech help and question
- Analyze key trends and provide insight to QSF Director on potential gaps or initiatives related to QSF data management or maintenance needed
- Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions
- Coordinate with banking team to ensure proper issuance and execution of payment submissions to attorneys, claimants, vendors, and any other necessary party
- Maintain accurate data reporting per project
- Build and manage all QSF master file reports for assigned QSF projects
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1-2 years of experience supporting mass tort litigation, high-volume personal injury law, or legal operations preferred
- 1-2 years of experience analyzing high-volume legal, financial, or case management data within a mass tort or plaintiff law environment preferred
- Mastery of Excel
- The ability to be agile and react quickly to changing priorities
- High attention to detail & administrative skills
- Deadline and SLA management experience
- Must be an independent self-starter who is also able to collaborate effectively cross-departmentally
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- A keen sense of urgency/time management relating to all duties
- Maintains a variety of specialized files and ensures confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
