Job Title: SVP, Product Management – Data Products & Strategy
Location: Canada – Remote or Mississauga, ON – Hybrid
**Travel to Office expectations**
For Remote Roles: If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, semi-annual and annual team meetings.
For Hybrid Roles: If this role is Hybrid, there will be an expectation to reside within commutable distance to the office/location specified in the job listing. Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), the Senior Vice President, Product Management – Data Products & Strategy establishes and leads PointClickCare’s enterprise strategy for Data as a Product. This executive leader is accountable for transforming PointClickCare’s unique data assets, ecosystem position, and network scale into differentiated products, strategic growth opportunities, and new sources of enterprise value.
The role owns the long-term strategy for customer-facing data products, APIs, interoperability, marketplace capabilities, data monetization, and data-enabled AI solutions while ensuring appropriate protection of intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory compliance. As a member of the senior Product Leadership Team, the SVP influences corporate strategy, investment priorities, ecosystem partnerships, and growth initiatives while leading a team of senior Product leaders responsible for PointClickCare’s data product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead PointClickCare’s enterprise Data Products strategy, including establishing a multi-year vision for Data as a Product that aligns with corporate objectives, growth priorities, and evolving market opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and champion new business models and growth opportunities enabled by PointClickCare’s data assets, network scale, interoperability capabilities, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for customer-facing data strategy and ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, AI, Corporate Strategy, Legal, Go-to-Market, and the Corporate Data Office.
- Own the strategy, roadmap, performance, and long-term success of PointClickCare’s data products portfolio, including customer-facing data products, APIs, interoperability services, marketplace capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Establish investment priorities, resource allocation decisions, portfolio success measures, and business outcomes that balance customer value, market opportunity, and financial performance.
- Drive adoption, customer value realization, commercial performance, and scalable product growth through strong portfolio management and strategic execution.
- Lead PointClickCare’s enterprise strategy for data monetization, marketplace growth, and ecosystem expansion.
- Define customer access models, API strategies, pricing frameworks, packaging approaches, and commercial models that support sustainable growth while preserving trust and protecting intellectual property.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem capabilities that strengthen PointClickCare’s competitive position and expand customer value.
- Represent PointClickCare’s data strategy with executive stakeholders, customers, strategic partners, industry analysts, and industry organizations.
- Lead executive-level discussions related to data products, healthcare interoperability, marketplace participation, data monetization, and AI-enabled customer solutions.
- Build relationships that influence product direction, market positioning, and long-term growth opportunities across the healthcare technology landscape.
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing product leadership organization through senior leaders, including VPs and Directors.
- Establish succession planning, leadership development, talent strategies, and organizational capabilities that strengthen expertise in data products, APIs, ecosystem platforms, marketplace solutions, and monetization strategies.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and execution excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management, technology, data products, platform strategy, enterprise software, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success defining and executing enterprise-level product, growth, or business strategies with measurable impact on organizational performance, customer outcomes, and financial results.
- Proven experience leading large, complex product or technology organizations through multiple layers of leadership, including developing senior leaders and building organizational capability.
- Track record of leading enterprise transformation initiatives requiring alignment across multiple functions, competing priorities, and significant organizational change.
- Deep expertise in data products, APIs, interoperability, marketplace and ecosystem strategies, data monetization models, AI-enabled products, and the business dynamics of data-driven organizations.
- Strong strategic, financial, and operational acumen, including ownership of portfolio-level investment decisions, business cases, risk management, and performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, shape investment decisions, and represent organizational strategy with customers, partners, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
- Experience leading marketplace, ecosystem, platform, or data monetization strategies is highly preferred.
- Experience within healthcare technology, post-acute care, payer, provider, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience engaging with industry analysts, strategic partners, customer advisory groups, or external industry bodies is preferred.
- Ability to balance growth objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property protection in a complex business environment.
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. This role offers a competitive base salary+ bonus + benefits, non-overtime eligible. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
