About This Opportunity: As the Sales Manager, TPA Markets, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing sales professionals responsible for driving growth across our TPA Markets business. You'll partner closely with sales leadership to build a culture of accountability, strengthen sales execution, and help team members achieve their full potential. Through ongoing coaching, pipeline management, performance development, and sales enablement, you'll play a key role in improving productivity, accelerating new hire ramp-up, and driving consistent revenue growth.

To be successful in this role, you're an experienced sales leader who enjoys developing people as much as delivering results. You know how to coach individuals through complex sales cycles, build confidence and accountability, and create an environment where high performers thrive. You're equally comfortable digging into pipeline strategy, removing obstacles, celebrating wins, and providing candid feedback that helps your team continue to grow.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Lead, coach, and develop TPA Markets sales professionals through ongoing mentorship, pipeline reviews, territory planning, and performance coaching.
  • Build a high-performing, accountable sales culture focused on continuous development, collaboration, and achieving results.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on opportunity strategy, prospecting effectiveness, executive presentations, negotiation skills, and closing performance.
  • Drive accountability for sales activity, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and achievement of individual and team revenue goals.
  • Lead onboarding and ramp-up initiatives for new sales team members, accelerating product knowledge, sales acumen, and organizational processes.
  • Develop and reinforce sales methodologies through coaching, playbooks, training, and ongoing sales enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, team performance, and overall execution.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and leverage data to identify coaching opportunities and remove barriers to success.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Client Success, Operations, and Revenue Operations to support sales initiatives and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Coach team members on developing strategic relationships with third-party administrators (TPAs) and other key partners within the self-funded healthcare market.
  • Ensure consistent adoption and utilization of CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, AI-enabled sales tools, and pipeline management processes.
  • Stay current on Valenz's solutions, competitive landscape, and industry trends to effectively support and develop the sales team.

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
· 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or a related consultative sales environment.

  • 4+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success building engaged, accountable teams that consistently achieve sales goals.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to leverage sales data to improve team performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.

A plus if you have…
· Experience leading remote or geographically dispersed sales teams.

  • Experience selling healthcare, health benefits, or other complex B2B solutions.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators (TPAs), self-funded health plans, or the broader healthcare benefits ecosystem.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, AI-enabled sales technology, and marketing automation platforms.
