敏捷教练(FTC)
Agile Coach (FTC)

TrustedHousesitters is a fast growing, direct-to-consumer marketplace that is redefining pet care and travel.
Here at TrustedHousesitters, we’re on a mission to make travel work better for pets, for their people, and for the global community of animal lovers who look after them. We’ve got big plans on becoming the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people. We’ve built something pretty special: a trusted place where pet owners and sitters connect to keep pets happy at home while their humans explore the world.
We’ve already grown into a global community with members in over 140 countries, a product people genuinely love, and a team of more than 100 brilliant humans powering it all.
But we’re only just getting started. Our goal? To grow to 1 million members and make TrustedHousesitters the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people.
At the moment, a sit starts every two minutes somewhere on the planet. We want that to be every single minute and we know the only way we’ll get there is with the right people in the right roles.
The right people in the right roles will shape our future. So, here’s the big question: Could that be you?
About The Role
We're looking for an Agile Coach to enable our Product Engineering squads to work more effectively together across the full product development lifecycle - from problem definition and discovery, through to delivery, release and outcome measurement. You’ll bring consistency and rigour to how individual squads work at every stage, and own the consistency of how those squads plan, visualise progress, and share their work.
We're looking for someone with solid, hands-on coaching experience who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into squad ways of working and drive impact.
You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and leadership across Product Engineering. Rather than spreading thin across every team at once, you'll typically go deep - spending an extended period (for example, a quarter) embedded with one or two squads at a time, building the relationships and trust needed to drive real, measurable change before moving focus elsewhere.
What you'll do
- Coach squads to embed effective agile and product-centric practices helping teams adopt dual-track ways of working so research and discovery run effectively alongside delivery.
- Guide teams as they mature their delivery practices and adopt product-centred planning and prioritisation approaches.
- Coach teams on outcomes over output, helping them understand whether what they shipped actually had the desired customer and business impact.
- Facilitate team-level meetings (refinement, retrospectives, planning) as required as part of team coaching.
- Help drive our shift left quality approach.
- Eliminate blockers through creative conversation and become a trusted advisor to the teams you work with.
- Offer insight on which metrics best measure team effectiveness and how to improve them over time.
- Act as a catalyst for change and experimentation, embedding an agile mindset without imposing a one-size-fits-all solution.
- Coach teams to build and sustain the habit of keeping their roadmaps, delivery plans, and progress clearly visualised spotting where consistency is slipping across squads and working with the relevant people to close the gap.
- Own the cadence of cross-squad sessions (e.g. show & tells, team learnings) - organising, running, and iterating on them so good practice and information travel beyond a single team.
- Spot where AI can genuinely speed teams up, and build that into their everyday ways of working.
Requirements
- Experience working as an Agile Coach with cross-functional, self-organising Agile teams.
- Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric scale-ups.
- Experience working in a remote-first, high-performance company.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Lean thinking, values and principles.
- Hands-on experience applying a variety of frameworks and methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and XP, and a track record of combining these approaches effectively.
- Experience teaching a wide range of Agile practices such as user story mapping, event storming, example mapping, and slicing.
- Experience coaching teams on “outcomes over output” and the adoption of continuous product discovery and delivery with a track record of helping teams improve discovery and quality practices, not just delivery speed.
- Comfortable holding people accountable to agreed team practices - working with relevant team members to close gaps against those standards..
- A progressive understanding of emerging Agile practices and concepts, including how AI is changing how teams work.
- A servant-leader who gets a kick out of helping others to succeed and grow.
You'll feel like a fish out of water if:
We know this isn't what you'd see in most job ads - but TrustedHousesitters isn't most companies.
Trust, transparency, and honest feedback aren't just things we say; they're genuinely how we operate, every day. So rather than leaving you guessing if things don't work out, we'd rather give you what you need to make a great decision upfront about whether this opportunity is right for you.
With that in mind, here are a few things worth considering before you hit apply:
- You're more comfortable as a delivery or project manager than a coach - if your instinct is to manage dependencies and chase updates rather than challenge teams and remove the dependency altogether, this isn't that role
- You need everything mapped out before you start - this is a brand new role here, still being shaped, and you'll have a hand in defining it as you go
- You've only coached in large, rigid or enterprise environments - we're a scrappy, five-or-six-team setup, not a heavily-processed org with the infrastructure that comes with it
- You lean on frameworks, certifications, or "doing Scrum by the book" over understanding the why - we care far more about mindset than ticking off methodology or chasing a SAFE certification
In addition to a competitive salary and bonus, we offer a range of benefits, including:

- year towards travel costs to and from sits
- Find a rescue pet to join your family and we’ll cover the adoption fees, as well as “pawternity” to help your pet settle into their new home

- Bupa Health Insurance and Dental Insurance plan
- Specsavers eyecare scheme
- Weekly virtual yoga sessions
- Optional enrollment onto our Trusted Giving scheme, which includes employee giving via Charities Trust and 2 days paid annual volunteering allowance
💻 Working environment

- Competitive salary which is reviewed annually
- Discretionary 10% quarterly bonus scheme, distributed quarterly

- £500 recruitment referral bonus
