#### About the company

Technology has revolutionised the world we live in, yet somehow the rail industry has stayed much the same as it was 30 years ago. Seatfrog is here to change that.

We're on a mission to build a better future for billions of passengers and the rail companies that carry them. We've already reinvented how upgrading your seat is done - now affordable and lightning fast to over 870 destinations - and enabled customers to effortlessly swap between train journeys. But we're not stopping there! We're on our way to becoming the ultimate travel companion and the only app you'll ever need when travelling by rail in the UK and beyond.

We’re building a stellar team to achieve our audacious goals. We strive to create an environment where you can do your best work. Join us, and you’ll be challenged and supported in equal measure. Ours is a culture with spirit and substance and our people are empowered to make the bold decisions others wouldn’t and haven't.

#### About the role

**Salary:** £80-90k

As Senior Product Manager, Partnerships & Data Monetisation at Seatfrog, you'll own how we turn our data asset and strategic relationships into new revenue — working directly with the Head of Product to define how Seatfrog partners with platforms like Uber, and how our proprietary rail intelligence gets packaged, priced, and sold. This role suits someone with strong B2B product experience, real commercial instincts, and a track record of shipping data-driven products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

At Seatfrog, we're shaking up the rail industry with our innovative platform, changing the game for rail operators and passengers alike. We were the first to market with our solution which enables rail operators to sell unsold first-class seats, generating ancillary revenue and providing passengers with incredible upgrade deals.

We've come a long way since then. We've revolutionised the way people can travel by rail, expanded our platform to let passengers buy train tickets and swap trains at the last minute, and built a data and intelligence layer that sits at the intersection of rail and modern mobility. We're not done yet — the next chapter is about turning years of infrastructure and data investment into a category-defining platform, and this role is central to that.

**Looking for the next stop on your career journey?**

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with a proven track record in B2B or platform products, ideally with direct experience monetising data or building strategic partnerships at scale. This is distinct from our existing B2B Product Manager role, which focuses on our regular train operator clients — this role is about the strategic, higher-stakes relationships (think mobility platforms, not incumbent rail operators) and about defining new, data-led revenue lines that don't exist today.

You'll report into the Head of Product, working closely with the CEO, VP Commercial, Sales, and Engineering to shape how we package and commercialise our data, and how we structure and scale partnerships that meaningfully expand what Seatfrog can offer travellers and operators.

#### What you'll do

- Own partnership strategy: Define and drive the product strategy for Seatfrog's strategic partnerships — platforms and partners beyond our core train operator base — from first conversation through to live integration.
- Lead data monetisation: Identify, scope, and ship the products that package Seatfrog's data and intelligence into something partners will pay for — pricing signals, demand data, supply insight — turning a data asset into a repeatable revenue line.
- Build the playbook: Work with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to create a standard, repeatable model for launching new partnerships, so each new partner is faster and lower-effort than the last, not a bespoke project.
- Structure the commercials: Partner closely with Commercial and Legal on deal structuring, contracts, and data-sharing agreements — you don't need to close the deal alone, but you need to be fluent enough in the commercial mechanics to shape a good one.
- Define the data product: Translate messy, fragmented data into clear, sellable products with defined contracts, integration patterns, and guardrails — working closely with Engineering and Data on what's technically deliverable and defensible.
- Manage complex stakeholders: Operate confidently with external partners at executive level, and internally with founders, Commercial, and Engineering leadership — you'll need to hold your own in the room with all of them.
- Govern responsibly: Ensure every data-sharing and partnership arrangement is compliant and well-governed — GDPR, data processing agreements, and consent scope aren't an afterthought, they're part of the product.
- Prioritise ruthlessly: This is a 0-to-1 space with more opportunity than capacity — you'll need to make sharp calls on what's worth building now versus later.
- Push AI boundaries: Use AI natively in how you work and how you build — from scoping and shipping data products faster, to finding new ways AI itself can create partnership and monetisation opportunities we haven't tried yet.

#### What we're looking for

- Proven B2B or platform product experience — ideally in a two-sided marketplace, data business, or platform environment, not purely operational B2B delivery.
- Data monetisation experience — you've scoped, built, or shipped products that package data as a sellable asset (data-as-a-service, APIs, licensing, or similar).
- Strategic partnership experience — you've worked as the product owner on partnerships with real commercial weight and complexity, ideally with recognisable platform or enterprise partners, partnering closely with Commercial rather than running deals solo.
- Commercially literate — you can hold your own in the room with partners and Commercial, understand the shape of a good deal, and know when to bring in specialist support — this isn't a negotiation-led role, but you need to be fluent in the language.
- Technical fluency — you're comfortable working with data platforms and integration patterns (Snowflake or equivalent), and can work productively with Engineering on what's buildable.
- Comfortable in ambiguity — you've operated in 0-to-1 environments where the playbook doesn't exist yet and you're the one writing it.
- Exceptional communicator — able to distil complex commercial and technical detail into clear narratives for founders, partners, and delivery teams alike.
- AI-native, not AI-aware (must-have) — you use AI, including agentic tools, as a core part of how you build and think, not just to speed up admin. You can talk in detail about where you've used AI to genuinely push what's possible in your product or role — new capability, not just faster execution — and you'll be expected to bring that same instinct to how we approach partnerships and data products here.

**Nice to have:**

- Experience in travel or mobility tech
- Exposure to regulated or operationally complex industries
- Familiarity with GDPR and data governance in a commercial context
