You will engage with developers, node operators, content creators, founders, and educators within the local Korean blockchain community.This role is best suited for a self-driven, crypto-native professional who is deeply familiar with the dynamics of effective community building in the Korean market. Your focus will be on creating a vibrant and resilient Korean community, while also supporting our global initiatives.You will be responsible for developing and growing our community across digital platforms, including Telegram, Discord, Twitter, our Forum, and local platforms such as KakaoTalk and Naver. You will also act as a liaison between our global community and the Korean market. Cross-functional collaboration is an important part of this role. You will be expected to collaborate extensively with our Korean-based team members who manage BD, partnerships, and ecosystem development. Additionally, successfully growing our presence in Korea will require close coordination with our APAC marketing team and Head of Community.As part of our Community Team, you will contribute to strategy development, execution, and analysis. To accomplish this, you will work with a dedicated, cross-functional team of community managers around the world.What you'll be doing:Create a vision and strategy for sustainable community growth & developmentDefine objectives and key results to be used in weekly reportsCreate a strategy to reach and onboard community members from outside the Aptos ecosystem, educating them on the Aptos ecosystem and its unique advantages Nurture and support the community, converting new members into project advocatesWork closely with the Head of Community and APAC Marketing Lead to implement your strategyManage & Grow the Korean CollectiveWork with our Head of Community and Collective Manager to support Korean ambassadors through grants, resources, and other forms of help.Organize Events and Activations: Manage planning, scheduling, promotion, execution, and optimization of key community events online and offlineBuild, maintain, and operate a calendar of content, events, and activitiesSupport online and in-person hackathons, meetups, webinars, and conferencesProviding Support: Engage with leaders in the community to help anyone get involved, connecting various contributors with projects and other opportunitiesAnswer technical and non-technical user questions, help with troubleshooting Aptos productsCreate innovative, scalable processes to make community members feel valued and supportedMonitor Community Health: track performance using available tools / dashboards (Orbit.love) and make recommendations to improve structures and processesGather Feedback: understand community needs and how to address unique challengesSurface wonderful stories that emerge from our communityAmplify Messages: work closely with our Marketing Team to drive meaningful awareness and quality engagementContribute to weekly community updates about projects in our ecosystemHelp manage the Korean X account to share local wins and newsShare Knowledge: develop educational content such as blog posts, guides, videos, etc.Build Connections: work with ecosystem contributors to coordinate various initiativesWhat we’re looking for:Excellent communication skills (native Korean and fluent English)2+ years of professional experience as a community manager or similar position2+ years moderating active Telegram, Discord, KakaoTalk, and related platformsRelevant professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or analyticsDeep enthusiasm, knowledge, and familiarity with the blockchain / crypto industryDetail oriented with great problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skillsStrong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and empathyApply here 👉 Community Manager, Korea
