The salary for this position will be $90,000 - $120,000 with an opportunity for 10% annual incentive bonus. Exact compensation will vary by experience, education and location.
Summary:
The Manager, University Recruitment is responsible for helping design, implement, and execute the organization's early career talent strategy, with a primary focus on internship and new graduate hiring programs. This role serves as the operational and recruiting lead for campus partnerships, university engagement, internship programs, and entry-level talent pipelines.
The position plays a critical role in building a sustainable talent pipeline for key business areas, including field, Sales and Corporate positions. Working closely with Talent Acquisition leaders, business stakeholders, Human Resources, and university partners, the University Recruiting Manager identifies, attracts, and develops emerging talent while creating a positive candidate and intern experience.
This role combines strategic program coordination with full-cycle recruiting responsibilities and serves as a developmental pathway into a future leadership position.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing the organization's campus recruiting strategy aligned to workforce planning needs.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for intern and new graduate hiring programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with targeted colleges, universities, technical schools, and student organizations.
- Coordinate campus recruiting activities including career fairs, information sessions, networking events, classroom presentations, and virtual recruiting events.
- Partner with business leaders to identify future hiring needs and develop talent pipelines for critical entry-level positions.
- Maintain a campus recruiting calendar and manage all recruiting activities throughout the academic year.
- Evaluate recruiting outcomes and recommend improvements to increase program effectiveness.
- Track intern performance and identify candidates for conversion into full-time opportunities.
- Coordinate the end-to-end internship program experience from recruiting through program completion.
- Support intern onboarding, orientation, engagement activities, and performance checkpoints.
Qualifying Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Higher Education, Communications, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in talent acquisition, university recruiting, or related HR disciplines.
- Experience leading internship or rotational programs.
- Knowledge of campus recruiting best practices and early-career talent development programs.
- Knowledge of recruiting technologies and employer branding strategies.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Workday or a similar ATS.
- Experience presenting to groups and representing an organization at recruiting events.
- Strong recruiting and candidate assessment capabilities.
- Excellent presentation, networking, and public speaking skills.
- Experience in healthcare, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments is a plus
- 30% Travel will vary, but be higher during recruitment seasons.
