We’re looking for an inspiring Relationship Executive to work within the regional team to manage individual, group and corporate supporter relationships.

This role will provide an exceptional level of service, predominantly over the phone, to help maximise in year and lifetime value, and transition relevant supporters to Relationship or Legacy Managers to extend their journey.

### **What will I be doing?**

- Manage ongoing contact for low value to mid value and light touch relationships including and not limited to; individuals, fundraising groups and corporate organisations.

- Provide excellent customer service to support fundraisers via phone, mail and e-mail.

- Provide timely contact to supporters, providing reward, recognition, and fundraising materials as required.

- Identify supporters with high value potential or specific stewardship requirements across income streams and pass relationships to the Relationship Manager to maximise income and build long term relationships, including legacy journeys.

- Ensure supporter records are entered and maintained on systems and associated pipelines.

- Dealing with compliance enquiries to ensure supporters are compliant with Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission regulations, up to date with CRUK policies and procedures, and operating in line with Institute of Fundraising best practice.

### **What are we looking for?**

- Experience of providing excellent customer service.

- Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form with an ability to influence others using clear, candid communication - predominantly over the phone.

- Good listening skills to build effective and valuable relationships with supporters.

- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

- Ability and confidence to solve straightforward problems with the direction, guidance and support of colleagues.

- Build internal networks for collaboration and knowledge sharing across the region and department, with experience of working with colleagues to find new or better ways to do things and to make changes appropriately.

- Excellent attention to detail and experience of entering and managing data in a database system.

- Ability to understand the fundraising or charity/voluntary sector.

- Applicants must be willing to work flexibly with the ability to travel for internal meetings across the division (approx. 2 per year). Home office space required.

**Eligibility criteria**

Internal candidates should ideally have completed their 6-month ‘getting started’ period before applying for other roles. You should also advise your current line manager at the point you make an internal application, or at the latest, at the point of being invited for an interview.

- completed their getting started period

- discussed their intention to apply and gained approval to apply with their line manager

- been in their substantive (home) role for at least 6 months (this is only applicable if you have previously been on secondment)
