The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of chemical dosing and treatment system projects across municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, sales teams, engineers, contractors, manufacturing, and field service personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements.
The Project Manager oversees multiple concurrent projects involving chemical feed systems, process equipment, controls integration, pilot and demonstration programs, and capital equipment installations. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, project execution experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Remote – U.S. West Coast. Candidates located in the MST or PST time zones are preferred.
In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Manage multiple customer projects from kickoff through implementation, commissioning support, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risk logs, and action trackers.
  • Serve as the primary project contact for customers and provide clear, timely progress updates.
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, procurement, vendor, and field-service activities.
  • Identify project risks, delays, scope changes, and resource constraints, and drive appropriate countermeasures.
  • Manage project documentation, deliverables, contracts, change orders, and customer approvals.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines are documented.
  • Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and improving project-management processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, environmental science, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of project-management experience in an industrial, environmental, engineering, construction, chemical, or technical-service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple customer-facing projects with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change control.
  • Strong customer communication and cross-functional stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management or ERP tools.
  • Ability to travel to customer or project locations up to 25%.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project-management certification.
  • Water, wastewater, environmental treatment, chemical-feed systems, remediation, or industrial-process experience.
  • Experience coordinating field installation, commissioning, contractors, or technical service teams.
  • Familiarity with engineered-to-order or customized customer solutions.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
