Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Korean
Type:Contract
Compensation:$25/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI training data in Korean for accuracy and clarity.
- Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and checking transcriptions against a fixed set of error codes.
- Conduct forced alignment audits by verifying and correcting audio segment timestamps and transcriptions.
- Provide detailed written rationales for each judgment to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or near-native command of Korean as spoken in South Korea.
- Strong English reading and writing skills.
- Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.
- Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.
- Excellent careful listening skills.
Preferred
- Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
- Background in phonetics or linguistics.
- Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
