**About the Role**

Payment Integrity is one of the hottest, highest-stakes problems in healthcare—and you’ll be at the center of how Abacus solves it. We’re looking for a dynamic Analytics Manager who can turn dense, messy healthcare data into the kind of story that makes a prospect lean forward in a room. This isn’t a back-office analytics seat: you’ll be in front of clients, on stage in demos, and in the room when pricing and go-to-market decisions get made.

You’ll be the face of payment integrity at Abacus, with your expertise directly shaping how the market sees us and how deals get won. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and sales, with real visibility into revenue, pricing, and product decisions—and you’ll work across some of the most exciting frontiers in healthcare analytics, from payment integrity and value-based care to population health, risk adjustment, and HEDIS/Star ratings. **Your day to day**

- Be a thought leader for Abacus’ payment integrity solutions—tracking market, competitor, and regulatory trends and feeding what you learn back to Product to help shape where we go next.
- Team up across the company to sharpen how we measure performance and tell our story through best-in-class analytical tools and reporting.
- Bring healthcare analytics to life—building out offerings and crafting the demo materials that showcase payment integrity, medical cost management, value-based care, population health, risk adjustment, and HEDIS/Star rating in action.
- Take center stage with Sales, delivering product demos so compelling that customers can’t wait to sign—and backing every RFP and proposal with data that holds up under scrutiny.
- Dig into the sales pipeline to forecast revenue and spot market opportunities, and build the executive-ready dashboards and KPIs that keep leadership and the sales org aligned.
- Own the analytics behind deal margins—building the revenue and cost models that keep our growth healthy.
- Have a real hand in pricing strategy, using cost and implementation data to help shape how we price our data products.
- Get in the room with clients and prospects, translating payer reimbursement methodologies, claims trends, and medical cost drivers into insights, and uncovering the challenges where Abacus can drive value.

**What you bring to the team**

- **5–10+ years in a healthcare-related company (payer, provider, vendor, or consulting), with deep, hands-on experience in payment integrity.**
- **A sharp understanding of healthcare industry and financial reporting, including payer reimbursement methodologies, claims data, and medical cost trends—plus deep knowledge of payment integrity concepts such as pre-pay and post-pay audit, DRG validation, coordination of benefits, and fraud, waste, and abuse detection.**
- Subject matter expertise in the healthcare data and analytics payers rely on.
- Experience building and presenting executive-ready dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting that make complex data easy to act on.
- A knack for juggling multiple priorities and staying energized in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- A communication style that’s clear, polished, and genuinely empathetic—you know how to read a room and adjust your pitch on the fly.
- A self-starter mentality—you thrive in ambiguity and love bringing order to chaos.
- Confidence engaging external customers and prospects in high-stakes sales conversations, including RFPs and executive-level presentations.

**What we'd like to see, but not required**

- Hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- A genuine curiosity about healthcare tech, startups, and what makes companies grow.
- A sense of humor and a love for figuring things out—we take the work seriously, not ourselves.

**Compensation**

Compensation for this role is based on experience, skills, and location, and includes base salary plus eligibility for performance bonuses and equity grants.
