Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Claims Representative.
Claims representatives perform a variety of functions that primarily involve customer service, assisting customers in submitting new claims requests and providing additional information based on determinations made, including queued call volume, ensuring that all customers receive assistance in the shortest amount of time possible. This role will need to work in US business hours.
What You Will Do As A Claims Representative

• Bachelor’s degree

• Handle inbound calls from contract holders to initiate a claim or follow up on an existing claim.

• Communicate home warranty information effectively.

• Note claim information accurately into the database.

• Provide follow-up information to customers as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring As A Claims Representative

• High English proficiency.

• Great communication skills.

• Extensive handyman/repair services experience.

• Understanding of appliance diagnosis issues.

• Excel spreadsheet data entry experience.

• Ability to deal with escalated situations.

• Proven experience working with US based business teams.

• Excellent written and communication skills in English language.

• This role requires full and ongoing overlap with Porch’s U.S. EST business hours (7:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST). Night Shift Allowance is applicable for this position in line with company policy

• Workspace: A quiet space to work, with a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range: 600,000 – 840,000 INR annually
Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
