MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Government Accounting Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Analystto join our team.
This is a remote position.
The Government Accounting Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Analyst supports various DCAA or DCMA audits and reviews. You will perform work related to the preparation of the annual Incurred Cost Submission, Forward Pricing Rate Proposal, Cost Impact Proposals, and internal ad hoc reviews or projects associated with ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other applicable USG reporting requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the preparation and development of the Annual Incurred Cost Submission.
- Generating GDM Cost Impact proposals as needed for cost accounting practice changes.
- Participating in the preparation and review of the Forward Price Rate Proposal (FPRP).
- Participating in CAS Disclosure Statement Maintenance.
- Providing DCAA/DCMA audit support of Incurred Cost Submissions, GDM, Forward Pricing, and Disclosure Statements.
- Assisting with the monitoring of indirect rates and providing monitoring results to DCMA.
- Participating in the contract closeout process through the preparation and development of Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheets (CACWS).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance with 2 years of hands-on related experience in Government Contracting, or an additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of indirect pools and rate application.
- Extensive experience working with PeopleSoft ERP.
- Detail-oriented mindset with good organizational skills and the capability of multi-tasking.
- Experience or knowledge responding to DCAA and/or DCMA audit requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Working knowledge and understanding of CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) requirements.
- 5+ years of hands-on related experience in Government Contracting.
- Excellent people skills, with experience coordinating and collaborating in a matrixed organization.
- Experience working with Deltek Costpoint ERP.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,400.00-$103,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
