Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative leader to serve as our
Associate Director/Senior Manager of Health Economics & Outcomes Research
(HEOR) Oncology. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development and execution
of health economic and outcomes evidence demonstrating the clinical and economic
value of Natera’s precision molecular diagnostic technologies across oncology and
emerging indications.

You will develop health economic models, generate real-world and clinical-trial
evidence, lead HEOR publication initiatives, and translate complex clinical and
economic data into compelling evidence supporting market access, reimbursement,
payer adoption, clinical adoption, and commercialization. Working across Medical
Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Market Access, Commercial, Marketing,
Regulatory, and Business Development, you will help integrate HEOR evidence
throughout the product lifecycle—from clinical development and evidence generation
through publication, reimbursement, and payer adoption.

This is a strategic role for an experienced HEOR professional who combines strong
technical capabilities with scientific communication, business acumen, and the ability to
influence cross-functional evidence strategy.

Why Join Us

At Natera, you will have the opportunity to shape the economic evidence strategy
supporting innovative precision diagnostics and biomarker-guided approaches to patient
care. You will work at the intersection of clinical evidence, health economics, market
access, and commercialization, translating clinical innovation into measurable value for
patients, providers, health systems, and payers.

You will collaborate with internal leaders, investigators, key opinion leaders, and
external research partners to generate evidence capable of influencing reimbursement
decisions, clinical adoption, health technology assessments, and healthcare policy
across U.S. and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

 Health Economic Modeling & Value Demonstration: Lead the development,
validation, and application of health economic models, including budget impact,
cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-consequence, ROI, decision-tree,
Markov/state-transition, partitioned-survival, and other economic models.
Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses that quantify the clinical and economic
value of precision diagnostics across different payer and healthcare-system
perspectives.

 Clinical Development & HEOR Evidence Strategy: Partner with Clinical
Development, Medical Affairs, Biostatistics, and other cross-functional teams to
integrate HEOR objectives into prospective clinical studies, including healthcare
resource utilization, economic endpoints, patient-reported outcomes, quality-of-
life measures, cost-data collection, and real-world evidence strategies. Ensure
evidence-generation plans anticipate future payer, reimbursement, and HTA
requirements.

 Real-World Evidence & Outcomes Research: Analyze clinical-trial,
observational, and real-world datasets to evaluate healthcare resource utilization,
cost of care, treatment pathways, diagnostic utilization, clinical utility, comparative
effectiveness, patient outcomes, survival, budget impact, and quality-adjusted life
years. Translate findings into actionable evidence supporting clinical, payer, and
business decisions.

 Publication & Scientific Evidence Leadership: Lead HEOR publication
strategy and development of peer-reviewed manuscripts, scientific abstracts,
conference posters, oral presentations, white papers, and technical reports.
Coordinate publication plans and timelines with investigators, key opinion
leaders, academic collaborators, and external research partners to ensure
evidence generation is aligned with strategic business priorities.

 Market Access & Payer Evidence: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs,
Marketing, and Commercial teams to translate HEOR evidence into payer value
propositions, budget impact summaries, value dossiers, reimbursement
materials, health economic briefs, health-system value calculators, account-
specific economic tools, and other evidence-based value communications.

 Global HEOR Strategy: Develop and adapt health economic evidence and
payer models for the U.S. and international markets, including Europe, Japan,
Canada, Australia, and other priority geographies. Support reimbursement
submissions and evidence strategies aligned with HTA and payer requirements
across healthcare systems.

 Cross-Functional & External Collaboration: Serve as a strategic HEOR
partner across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Market
Access, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, and Business Development.
Collaborate with external consultants, academic investigators, KOLs, and
research partners to execute high-quality evidence-generation initiatives.

Core Skills & Competencies

 Health Economics & Outcomes Research: Deep understanding of health
economic modeling, outcomes research, healthcare resource utilization, real-
world evidence, cost-of-care analysis, comparative effectiveness, and value
assessment methodologies.

 Economic Modeling: Demonstrated ability to develop and critically evaluate
budget impact, cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, ROI, decision-tree, Markov/state-
transition, and related economic models.

 Payer & Market Access Strategy: Strong understanding of payer evidence
requirements and the ability to translate clinical and economic evidence into
compelling value propositions supporting reimbursement, coverage, and
adoption.

 Evidence Generation & Clinical Strategy: Ability to integrate HEOR endpoints
and evidence requirements into clinical development and real-world research
programs, anticipating future reimbursement and HTA needs.

 Scientific Communication & Publication: Strong scientific writing and
communication skills with experience translating complex analyses into
manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, value dossiers, payer materials, and
executive-level communications.

 Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to work across clinical, medical,
statistical, market access, commercial, and business functions and to influence
evidence strategy in a matrixed organization.

 Global Perspective: Understanding of U.S. and international reimbursement
environments and major HTA frameworks, including ICER, NICE, CADTH,
PBAC, IQWiG, and Japanese reimbursement processes.
