About CiraSync
CiraSync automates the tenant-wide synchronization of contacts, calendars, and Global Address Lists for Microsoft 365. Our customers include IT administrators, internal IT teams, and managed service providers.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Social Media and Community Coordinator to support CiraSync's organic social
presence, primarily across LinkedIn and Reddit. You will create and publish content, participate in online
communities, manage social interactions, edit short-form videos, and track channel performance.
This role is well suited to someone who has previously grown an organic social media audience or online community,
communicates clearly, and can independently manage a consistent weekly content schedule. You will work closely
with the Director of Marketing and the broader marketing team within a weekly rhythm of planning, content creation,
publishing, and reporting.
This is a part-time opportunity for a current opening. CiraSync does not use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.
What You'll Do
LinkedIn
- Identify content themes and angles that resonate with IT administrators and managed service providers.
- • Write, format, and publish original organic content for LinkedIn.
- • Apply LinkedIn organic best practices to improve reach and engagement without paid promotion.
- • Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages, particularly in the hours immediately
following publication.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
Reddit and Community Engagement
- Participate regularly in subreddits where CiraSync's audience is active.
- • Follow each subreddit's rules, including those related to self-promotion and vendor participation.
- • Provide useful and substantive responses that contribute meaningfully to community discussions.
- • Draft and publish Reddit posts and manage the conversations they generate.
Short-Form Video
- Edit short-form videos using existing footage and screen recordings.
- • Add captions and prepare videos according to platform specifications, including the appropriate aspect ratio and
legible on-screen text.
Reporting
- Track channel performance, maintain clear records, report on results, and use performance insights to improve
- future content.
What We're Looking For
Our primary requirement is demonstrated experience growing a social media account or online community
organically. Candidates should be prepared to discuss what they grew, the work they personally completed, the period
involved, and the results achieved.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn organic content practices.
- • Familiarity with Reddit communities and the expectations placed on brands participating in technical discussions.
- • Basic video-editing skills, including cutting footage, adding captions, and exporting short-form videos.
- • Ability to track performance data, maintain consistent records, and communicate results clearly.
- • Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and formatting.
- • Reliable ownership of deadlines and early communication when a timeline may be at risk.
- • Clear and concise writing skills without unnecessary filler.
• Must reside in Ontario.
Product training will be provided. Previous knowledge of CiraSync or Microsoft 365 administration is not required.
Working Schedule
Because effective community engagement requires consistent participation, hours for this position will be scheduled
in regular working blocks across all five weekdays. The work cannot be condensed into fewer days.
