Role Title: Behavioral Analyst
Role Type: Contractor (Part-time or Full-time), Remote
Location: Northern America, Latin America, United Kingdom, Europe, and Oceania.
micro1 is engaging Behavioral Analysts to contribute their expertise to a unique customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. We are especially interested in professionals with backgrounds as behavioral therapists, counselors, theater or acting coaches, or similar profiles adept in recognizing and interpreting subtle behavioral cues.
Scope of Work
- Analyze text, audio, and video data to identify and categorize behavioral cues such as tone, gesture, and speech patterns.
- Provide detailed annotations and explanations that support AI model development in understanding nuanced human behavior.
- Develop scenario-based training materials drawing from real-world behavioral expertise.
- Collaborate with project leads to refine annotation guidelines and ensure quality deliverables.
- Review, evaluate, and offer feedback on AI-generated responses for behavioral accuracy and appropriateness.
- Document insights and best practices for interpreting complex interpersonal interactions.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement through subject matter expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in behavioral therapy, counseling, theater/acting coaching, or a related field involving behavioral observation and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to identify subtle changes in tone, speech, body language, and gestures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and nuance.
- Experience creating training materials or facilitating skills development in others.
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy in deliverables.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and comfort working independently in a digital environment.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging domain expertise to influence emerging AI technologies.
