ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a customer-facing engineering role at a pre-seed healthtech startup building an operations platform for urgent care and emergency medicine groups. You will work directly with clinical and operational teams to translate their needs into shipped software, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success on a small, fast-moving team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build front-end and back-end features using TypeScript, React, Deno, Node, and SQL.
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions quickly.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS, and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
- Travel frequently to customer sites for on-site engagements and deployments.
- Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping, moving ideas from concept to shipped code.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js or Deno, SQL, and AWS (new grads and early-career engineers welcome).
- Strong ability to ship reliable software quickly and independently.
- Comfortable working directly with customers, including clinical or operational stakeholders.
- High emotional maturity, low ego, and a collaborative team-first attitude.
- Willing and able to travel frequently for customer engagements.
- Based in Miami or willing to relocate; in-person presence is required.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary of $80,000, with total compensation targeting $120,000 to $150,000 when including equity and travel-related expense coverage. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in Miami, Florida. Relocation from anywhere in the US is welcome.
