About the Role:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Global Payroll to lead our payroll & HRIS organization, with a primary focus on managing US Payroll — including regular bi-weekly payroll, off-cycle runs, and incentive payrolls. This role requires deep expertise in US payroll tax to ensure we remain current and compliant across all tax jurisdictions, along with strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets. You will bring a strategic mindset focused on building scalable processes, driving partnership and accountability with key stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process US payroll operations, including bi-weekly payroll, off-cycle runs, and incentive payrolls
- Maintain deep expertise in US payroll tax regulations to keep the company current and compliant across all applicable tax jurisdictions
- Partner with the Benefits team to process life event changes impacting employee contributions and benefit eligibility
- Process off-cycle payouts, including severance, spot bonuses, and COBRA reimbursements
- Oversee payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, including validating hours worked and time card approvals
- Prepare and validate W-2s, and manage annual and quarterly tax filings in partnership with ADP
- Respond to unemployment insurance claims, wage validation requests, and wage garnishments
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and troubleshoot large, complex payroll datasets
- Build scalable payroll processes and drive accountability through partnership with Finance, Accounting, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Treasury
- Maintain compliance with local payroll practices across EU markets — including the UK, Germany, Italy, and France (all operating under a PEO model) — as well as Moldova, Serbia, and China
- Lead all HRIS data integrity, process flows and data reporting, leveraging AI for scaling HR processes and creating executive dashboards, analytics and insights
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience, including senior leadership responsibility
- Proven ability to lead a major function or department
- Strategic planning and long-range execution experience
- Strong financial and operational management capabilities
- Experience developing leaders and succession planning
- Executive-level presentation and influence skills

The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000-160,000 USD. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data for their location. This position is also eligible for an additional annual bonus compensation through one of Pacvue’s highly attractive incentive plans, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
