As our Regional Coding Manager, you will helpsupport middle revenue cycle functions spanning client management, medical coding operations, quality compliance, and process improvement. Every day you willsupport the coding team by managing the goals, objectives, strategic plans, and policies and procedures for your regional hospital clients. To thrive in this role, you must have an active coding certification and healthcarerevenue cyclemanagement experience.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Regional Coding Manager:
Ensure service level agreements are met by monitoring team performance, productivity, and quality targets and providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and support
- Conduct daily and weekly coding performance reviews to meet KPIs, and identify and report barriers and defects to customers and leadership.
- Address moderate to complex coding workflow issues, lead project plans for resolution, and escalate key performance barriers as needed.
- Collaborate with the quality review team to address coding quality issues, implement improvement plans, and ensure staff compliance with performance standards.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC
- Medical coding experience in a healthcare setting where you gained knowledge of charge capture strategies, pricing modalities, payer contract knowledge, and patient accounting solutions
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Leadership experience in a healthcare revenue cycle management position where you held team meetings, provided ongoing coaching and feedback, and annual performance reviews
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $65,000.00 - $116,747.20 per year .
