Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.
This role previously supported traditional Cisco IP telephony engineering and system design. Following migration from Cisco to Content Guru, the position has shifted to Verint PCI compliance and onboarding work, with occasional legacy Cisco telephony coverage during the transition.
As the environment continues moving away from traditional Cisco telephony, the role is expected to concentrate increasingly on Content Guru support.
Business Context and Key Challenges:
- Supports telephony environment as it transitions from Cisco IP telephony to ContentGuru, with a near-term focus on Verint compliance and onboarding;
- First 3–6 months: drive VerintPCI compliance activities and onboarding, provide occasional Cisco telephonyengineering coverage, and begin building Content Guru support capability;
- Key priorities: Verint PCIcompliance and onboarding, ramping Content Guru support, and winding downtraditional Cisco telephony engineering scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Verint PCI complianceactivities for the US telephony/recording environment, including configuration,validation, and audit readiness;
- Manage Verint onboarding fornew sites, systems, and users as part of the compliance program;
- Provide occasional Cisco IPtelephony engineering and system design coverage during the Cisco-to-ContentGuru transition;
- Build up Content Guru platformsupport and engineering capability as the environment shifts away from Ciscotelephony;
- Design, test, and validate PCIDSS controls across recording and IVR platforms;
- Partner with compliance andsecurity teams to document and remediate PCI-related findings;
- Provide technical guidance ontelephony architecture decisions through the multi-platform transition period.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on IP telephonyengineering (Cisco UCM/CUBE/voice gateways) at principal level, includingsystem design experience;
- Verint recording/complianceplatform experience, including PCI DSS control implementation and systemonboarding;
- Working knowledge of PCI DSSrequirements as applied to telephony and call recording environments;
- Exposure to Content Guru or acomparable cloud CCaaS platform, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on newtelephony platforms;
- Fluent English, written andspoken: able to work directly with US business and compliance stakeholders andinterview in English;
- Experience collaborating acrossinternational, multicultural teams and time zones;
- Strong ownership and autonomy,able to operate independently on compliance-driven deliverables with minimalsupervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Direct hands-on experience withthe Content Guru platform;
- PCI DSS certification orQSA-adjacent audit exposure;
- Experience in insurance orother regulated, enterprise-scale environments;
- Cisco voice certifications(CCNP/CCIE Collaboration) from prior telephony engineering work.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years in IP telephonyengineering, with principal-level ownership of system design and architecturedecisions;
- Demonstrated delivery in acompliance-driven capacity (PCI DSS or comparable regulated framework);
- Track record supportingplatform migrations/transitions (e.g., legacy telephony to cloud CCaaS) inenterprise environments.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience;
- PCI DSS-related and/or Verintcertifications preferred; Cisco voice certifications (legacy skillset) a plus.
Working Model and Collaboration:
- Main stakeholders: compliance/security teams, Verint platform team, and the ContentGuru transition team;
- Flexibility expected aroundcompliance audit windows, Verint onboarding events, and occasional legacy Ciscotelephony support.
