Your knowledge of Kosovo's geography, local landmarks, and how people actually navigate your region is something no algorithm can fully replicate. That local intelligence is what makes maps genuinely useful.
A Day in the Life of an Online Data Analyst
In this role, you will conduct structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets. Your role is to verify, evaluate, and validate complex geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials.
· Conduct structured quality audits on spatial datasets using mapping platforms, search directories, and GIS-standard evaluation tools
· Evaluate and cross-reference complex business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources
· Perform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources, documenting the discrepancy with precise reasoning
· Apply detailed evaluation frameworks with consistency and rigor across dozens of geographic, business, and cultural data variations
· Be open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)
· Provide structured feedback that helps refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence

Qualification path
Requirements:
· Professional fluency in English and Albanian (native or near-native proficiency required)
· Residency in Kosvo country for the last 5 consecutive years
· Being open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)
· Advanced analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving ability
· Deep regional, cultural, and geographic knowledge of Kosovo
· Comfort with rigorous guideline interpretation and consistent framework application
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in analytical, technical, or research disciplines (strongly preferred)
· Stable internet connection and access to a personal computer
Qualification path

· Complete an open-book qualification assessment at your own pace within the time given

Service Rates
Compensation is based on tasks completed and project availability. Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume and program requirements including, quality, and productivity, in accordance with the program's quality standards and guidelines.
Independent Contractor Relationship
This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contributors have the flexibility to choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements.
