Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven leader to serve as our Director of Alliance Management, joining a high-visibility team at the intersection of BioPharma strategy and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary steward of our key BioPharma alliances, overseeing program execution across our product portfolio. You will provide governance, lead complex partnerships, ensure the successful delivery of initiatives like clinical trial support and Companion Diagnostics (CDx), and lead the expansion of partnerships horizontally and drive end to end execution from negotiating to execution. This is a strategic leadership position that offers substantial exposure to executive leadership, providing you with a platform to define our partnership strategy and scale our BioPharma engagements.

Key Responsibilities
- Alliance Leadership & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary relationship owner for key BioPharma partners, providing governance, escalation management, and strategic alignment throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Program & Portfolio Oversight: Lead portfolio-level execution across patient matching, sponsored testing, CDx, and related initiatives, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and risk management across concurrent, high-stakes programs.
- Platform Governance: Provide strategic oversight of operational platforms and workflows supporting BioPharma programs, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with partner and internal organizational priorities.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Patient Matching, Clinical, Marketing, Legal, BD) to ensure coordinated execution, smooth program delivery, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Operational & Commercial Enablement: Oversee contract operations, including invoicing, revenue tracking, and renewal readiness, ensuring rigorous monitoring of TCV and program performance.
- Horizontal partner expansion: Drive partnership expansion by identifying new opportunities through building partner relations. Drive end to end from identifcation of opportunity to execution
Core Skills & Competencies
- Alliance & Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and sustain trusted external partnerships and manage complex stakeholder environments with high emotional intelligence.
- Program Leadership: Strong portfolio-level management skills with experience overseeing multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously.
- Operational Acumen: Ability to provide governance and strategic direction for platforms, workflows, and execution models supporting complex BioPharma programs.
- Communication & Executive Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA preferred) in Health Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in alliance management, program management, or BioPharma-facing roles.
- Proven experience supporting diagnostics, genomics, clinical research, or BioPharma partnerships.
- Exceptional track record of managing complex partner ecosystems and delivering on strategic initiatives.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% is required.
- Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and completion of all required training (including HIPAA/PHI and security protocols) within 30 days of hire.
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
