作为殖民者的社区经理，你将是一个快速发展的全球游戏社区的发声者、脉搏和连接者。你的使命是建立持久的关系，保持社区在Discord及其他平台上的活跃，举办现场比赛，并将热情的玩家转化为终身拥护者。你不仅仅是在管理一个社区，而是在塑造互联网上最活跃的桌游平台之一的文化。
**你将负责**
- 管理Discord：每天审核频道，执行社区规则，管理机器人和角色
- 按品牌标准及时撰写并发布所有社区内容（补丁说明、通讯、公告）
- 举办每周比赛和竞技赛季：安排、赛程、实时监管、结果公布
- 与顶尖玩家、主播和创作者建立直接关系
- 每周报告社区情绪：从Discord、Reddit和社交媒体中收集玩家喜欢、讨厌和想要的内容
- 为新玩家创建入门内容：欢迎流程、新手指南、常见问题
- 管理推荐计划：跟踪指标，优化机制，与市场部门协调
- 制作帖子、图形（Canva）、短视频（CapCut）

**About Colonist**
We're building the biggest digital board game platform on the internet. Last year, our players spent 3,037 years playing 60 million games on our Settlers of Catan alternative. We're a fully remote, asynchronous team spread across multiple continents, focused on crafting extremely polished digital board games that people truly love.
**About The Role**
As Community Manager at Colonist, you are the voice, pulse, and connector of a fast-growing global gaming community. Your mission is to build lasting relationships, keep the community thriving across Discord and beyond, run live tournaments, and turn passionate players into lifelong advocates. You won't just manage a community, you'll shape the culture of one of the most active board game platforms on the internet.
**You Will**
- Own Discord: moderate channels daily, enforce community rules, manage bots and roles
- Write and publish all community content (patch notes, newsletters, announcements) on-brand and on time
- Run weekly tournaments and competitive seasons: scheduling, brackets, real-time moderation, results
- Build direct relationships with top players, streamers, and creators
- Report weekly on community sentiment: what players love, hate, and want, pulled from Discord, Reddit, and social
- Create onboarding content for new players: welcome flows, beginner guides, FAQs
- Manage the referral program: track metrics, improve mechanics, coordinate with marketing
- Produce posts, graphics (Canva), and short-form videos (CapCut)
**You Are**
- Experienced in building and managing communities
- A gamer who plays board games and understands online communities first-hand
- AI-first. We see AI fluency as a real multiplier
- A Discord expert: bots, permissions, server structure, moderation
- A strong English writer: clear, warm, consistent across every channel
- Organised: you manage competing priorities without missing deadlines
- Empathetic: you understand players deeply and resolve conflicts calmly
- Data-literate: you track metrics and turn community signals into actionable reports
- Self-directed: you work async and deliver without hand-holding
- Available on weekends for tournaments and live events
**Bonus Points**
- You know Catan or have played on Colonist
- You speak Spanish, Portuguese, or German
- You have video editing skills (CapCut or similar)
- You've grown or managed a gaming community before
