Our Compliance Manager will support the Senior Director, Compliance in the implementation, enhancement and on-going maintenance of the global compliance program.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Implement GXO’s corporate-level compliance standards, guidelines and compliance monitoring procedures for GXO’s operations globally
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks. Specifically, take ownership of the day-to-day GXO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process to include, but not limited to,
- Subject matter expert on our ERM software
- Providing regular updates to the ERM assessments and results to the risk committee
- Coordination with risk owners to provide updates to risk mitigation activities
- Collaboration with the broader compliance, EHS, Operations, HR, Finance and IT teams on risk committee presentations
- Have working knowledge of whistleblowing software including reviewing and assigning received whistleblowing reports, designing and running regular reporting dashboards and performing other administrative tasks as necessary
- Manage the Ethics & Compliance email account including monitoring new emails received, assigning emails for actions to various department members and ensuring timely responses on emails received
- Identify and escalate any potential violations of policies and applicable regulations
- Perform compliance site visits, audits and assessments, and assist with corrective actions, as necessary
- Assist in compliance-related training initiatives including training material development, selecting annual training topics and materials and delivering presentations to various departments and business units
- Support the modernization and standardization of compliance processes
- Design and develop communication strategies regarding corporate compliance related policies and procedures and updates to our compliance website
- Assist with performing third party due diligence procedures and identify improvements, as necessary
- Research and respond to requests for information and assistance from the business units
- Maintain effective relationships with the business units, vendors and, as necessary, customers
- Maintain an ongoing and creative branding and visibility campaign for our compliance program
- The role will require travel of approximately 30%
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, law; or
- 5 years of relevant work experience in a compliance program under legal, risk or compliance
It’d be great if you also have:
- Experience performing investigations and compliance audits involving financial, regulatory, procurement, travel and expense related fraud. A CFE is a plus
- Drafting and performing a compliance audit plan from internal procedures, highlighting risky areas
- Understand conflicts of interest and how to respond to reported said matters
- CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) desired
- Strong command of MS Office programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed.
- Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position.
- Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications.
- Familiarity with various Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
