The Sr. Security Engineer I is responsible for enhancing the security posture of the company’s enterprise, cloud-native environments, and applications, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM). Works cross-functionally to design, build, and operate solutions across diverse platforms and technologies that improve and mature the company’s security capabilities; leverages data to understand trends, metrics, and opportunities to improve the company’s security posture, researching options and making recommendations to secure those opportunities with stakeholders; leads and enhances incident and issue response efforts, spearheading analysis, containment, and mitigation strategies in a cross-functional environment to ensure effective resolution and remediation of security incidents and issues; helps craft and refine security documentation pertinent to the company’s Security Program, such as policies, standards, baselines, and standard operating procedures; and collaborates closely with various teams to ensure alignment between security solutions and organizational requirements, enabling secure operations across the enterprise.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field and four (4) years of experience as a security engineer in an enterprise environment across multiple security disciplines. The position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: four (4) years of experience in security posture management; three (3) years of technical leadership experience, serving as a trusted decision-maker who balances short-term tactical fixes with long-term business value; enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and directory services; Federated Identity platforms, specifically Okta or Microsoft Entra ID; hands-on capability to support the underlying infrastructure and directly debug and resolve bugs within Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools, specifically Omada or Lumos; deploying these IAM and IGA frameworks within complex enterprise environments; cloud proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP; automation skills using Python, Terraform, or PowerShell; experience in Data Security Operations and regulatory compliance; and the development of automated metrics to measure program effectiveness.
