SAP Global Label Management (GLM) Lead in Pharma

The SAP GLM Lead is responsible for leading the Global Label Management workstream within pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging environments. The role acts as the subject matter expert for SAP GLM, driving solution design, business process alignment, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities for labeling-related initiatives. Working closely with Regulatory Affairs, Packaging, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT teams, the SAP GLM Lead ensures labeling solutions meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards while supporting global transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP GLM workstream across implementation, enhancement, rollout, and optimization initiatives.

• Act as the primary functional expert for SAP Global Label Management and related labeling processes.

• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable SAP GLM solutions.

• Drive solution design workshops with business, packaging, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory stakeholders.

• Define and govern labeling processes, templates, master data requirements, and system integrations.

• Collaborate with SAP teams, solution architects, validation teams, and external partners to ensure successful solution delivery.

• Support testing, validation, training, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory, quality, and labeling requirements.

• Manage workstream plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

• Support global template deployment, system harmonization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a SAP GLM Lead, SAP GLM Consultant, or SAP Labeling Solution Lead.

• Strong functional expertise in SAP Global Label Management (GLM).

• Experience with pharmaceutical labeling, packaging, artwork, and regulatory processes.

• Good understanding of SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA integration with labeling and packaging processes.

• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.

• Strong understanding of GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), quality processes, and compliance requirements.

• Experience leading workshops, requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Fluent business English.
