We leverage the power of digital assets and blockchain to build an inclusive financial ecosystem to advance the freedom of money and improve financial access for people around the world.About the RoleThe role provides senior compliance expertise and leadership to the ADGM Recognised Bodies (i.e., recognised investment exchanges, clearing houses, and custodians) and the ADGM financial services provider entity. ResponsibilitiesReview and approve new products, features, and business initiatives to ensure alignment with FSRA rules and requirementsRegulatory Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for new product request/proposal submission, regulatory queries, and approvals concerning product scope and respective FSRA complianceRisk & Impact Assessment: Conduct compliance risk assessments, gap analyses, and operational testing for new financial instruments, assets, products or featuresGenerate product compliance plan with joint efforts from cross functions to ensure it is managed in accordance with the BU’s objectivesPolicy Implementation: Draft, update, and maintain internal compliance policies, frameworks, and monitoring controls.Provide advice to staff, training and support as necessary to ensure adherence with the product compliance plansAssist with internal compliance audits.RequirementsMinimum of 10 years in regulatory compliance, specifically within fintech, crypto, or traditional financial services.Deep familiarity with FSRA rulebooks in particular to GEN, COBS, MIR,, etc.Track record on regulatory engagement on product compliance aspect and hands on experience in responding regulatory queries on new product approval process Ability to effectively organize rulebook gap analysis and risk assessment with good execution credentials and manage detailed proposal for FSRA’s review and approvalAbility to provide and communicate advice & guidance in a practical & commercial manner with internal stakeholders Strong attention to detailWhy Binance• Shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem• Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure• Tackle unique, fast-paced projects with autonomy in an innovative environment• Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning• Competitive salary and company benefits• Work-from-home arrangement (the arrangement may vary depending on the work nature of the business team)Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
