The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with product data and spreadsheets, and interested in gaining practical experience in digital commerce, merchandising, and performance marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the marketing and sell-through of excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory through targeted digital campaigns, promotional merchandising, and channel-specific product opportunities.
  • Review product assortments to identify items that are not currently enabled for digital channels and help determine and document channel eligibility requirements.
  • Assist with product setup, merchandising, and optimization across NorthernSafety.com/Würth digital properties, Amazon, product data feeds, Google Merchant Center, and other marketplaces and shopping channels.
  • Audit product feeds and channel listings for errors, disapprovals, missing attributes, image or content gaps, pricing issues, and other factors that prevent products from being published or discoverable.
  • Work with product, eCommerce, marketing, and data teams to resolve eligibility and content issues and increase the number of products available for online sale.
  • Help improve digital merchandising by reviewing product titles, descriptions, categories, attributes, images, keywords, and related content for accuracy, consistency, and search visibility.
  • Build and maintain tracking files that show product eligibility, channel status, feed errors, E&O activation, and merchandising progress.
  • Support promotional campaigns for E&O and priority products across email, paid media, onsite merchandising, marketplaces, and sales enablement materials.
  • Monitor product and campaign performance, including traffic, conversion, sales, sell-through, and channel activation, and summarize opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct competitive and marketplace research to identify merchandising, pricing, assortment, and promotional opportunities.
  • Assist with special eCommerce, digital merchandising, product data, and marketing projects as needed.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, eCommerce, Business, Analytics, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large product lists, spreadsheets, and structured data.

  • Interest in eCommerce, digital merchandising, marketplaces, product feeds, and performance marketing.
  • Basic understanding of product content, digital marketing, search, or online shopping experiences preferred.
  • Experience with or exposure to platforms such as Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central, Google Merchant Center, product feed management tools, PIM systems, or eCommerce platforms is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify issues and clearly document findings.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to investigate why a product is not eligible, visible, or performing and help drive the issue toward resolution.
