Reimbursement Specialist - Patient Accounts
负责处理患者账单相关问题，通过来电与患者、医务人员及其他内部客户进行沟通。
职责
- 通过电话、电子邮件和在线聊天等多种沟通渠道与患者互动，同时为临床医生、保险公司和管理团队提供支持，以加快账户收款。
- 处理逾期账款，研究并核对信用余额账户，并根据需要处理调整。
- 审核患者的基因检测保险覆盖情况。
- 在流程备注中适当记录活动内容。
- 参与质量保障计划。
- 遵守相关的CLIA和HIPAA法规。
资格要求
- 需要高中文凭或同等学历。
- 1年以上客户服务/呼叫中心经验，有医疗账单、健康保险或催收经验者优先。
- 优秀的客户服务和电话沟通技巧，具备良好的问题解决和决策能力。
- 优秀的时间管理、组织、沟通、多任务处理和团队合作技能。
- 具备保险账单经验，了解ICD-10、CPT和HCPCS编码者优先。
- 英语/西班牙语双语者优先。
身体要求
轻体力劳动，频繁施力不超过20磅。身体要求：保持静止姿势，移动、操作、上下、交流、观察、推拉和伸手。使用必要的设备和工具完成关键工作职责。

Overview
The Reimbursement Specialists Patient Accounts resolves billing related inquiries from patients, providers, and other internal customers through inbound calls.
Responsibility
- Engage with patients through various communication channels including telephone, email, and live chat, while also providing support to clinicians, insurers, and the management team to facilitate prompt account collections.
- Work aged accounts, researching and reconciling credit balance accounts and processing adjustments as needed.
- Review patient insurance coverage for genetic testing.
- Document activities appropriately in process notes.
- Participate in Quality Assurance plan.
- Comply with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service/call center, working in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred.
- Excellent customer service and phone skills, with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Insurance billing experience with working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements –light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements –stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
