SEMI SENIOR - Software Developer (.NET) - Payment Integrations
Location: Chile or Argentina (remote)
Level: Semi Senior
Contract: 3 months, with possible extension based on performance
Payment: USD
About the role
We are looking for a Software Developer to join a team working on a payment-focused platform. You will build new features on a modern .NET stack and maintain legacy VB.NET code. A big part of the work is integrating and supporting multiple payment gateways and making those integrations reliable with solid integration testing.
What you will do
- Build and maintain web applications with ASP.NET on .NET 9 or later.
- Support, refactor and extend legacy C# and VB.NET code.
- Design, implement and maintain integrations with several payment gateways.
- Write and maintain integration tests for payment flows and external services.
- Work with SQL Server 2022 on queries, stored procedures and performance tuning.
What we are looking for
- Commercial experience with ASP.NET on .NET 9+.
- Hands-on experience with C# and legacy VB.NET codebases.
- Solid skills with SQL Server, ideally the 2022 version.
- Proven experience integrating more than one payment gateway.
- Experience designing and running integration tests.
Equipment requirements
You will work on your own laptop, which needs to meet these specs:
- Processor: Intel Core 7, Core Ultra or equivalent (x64 architecture)
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Operating system: Windows 11 or later
- Storage: SSD with more than 50 GB free for Visual Studio and the applications
