We are looking for Icelandic-speaking linguists to join our team for a long-term collaboration on international localization projects.
What you’ll do
- Perform Post-Editing of AI-generated content.
- Occasionally provide human translation when required.
- Review and edit translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, consistency, and naturalness.
- Work on IT and software-related content, following project-specific guidelines and terminology.
Requirements
·
Native-level Icelandic proficiency.
· At least 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.
· Proven experience in IT/software localization.
· Excellent command of Icelandic grammar, style, and terminology.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
· Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
· Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly desirable.
