- 联系第三方付款人跟进索赔
- 根据付款人指南及时进行上诉和拒付管理
- 理解和阅读EOB（解释说明）的能力
- 能够理解和解释付款人提供的建议/备注代码
- 在患者账户中创建清晰详细的记录
- 数据录入，正确分配付款人到患者账户，验证保险资格。审核和更新人口统计数据和患者信息以确保准确性。
- 调查所有被拒服务，确定服务被拒的原因，并根据需要采取下一步适当行动

Position Summary:
In this position you will be responsible for reconciliation of medical claims for the purpose of collecting revenue forNeoGenomics. They will work with Third Party insurance bills (HMO, PPO, IPA, TPA Indemnity, Medicare, and Government) responsible for processing independent laboratory claims and Patient Billing

- Appealsanddenialmanagementbasedonpayerguidelinesinatimelymanner
- KnowledgeofreadingandunderstandingofEOB’s
- Abilitytounderstandandinterpretadvice/remarkcodesfrompayers
- Createsclearanddetailednoteswithinthepatientsaccount
- Dataentry,correctpayerassignmenttopatientaccounts,insuranceeligibilityverification. Review/update demographics and patient information for accuracy.
- Investigatealldeniedservicestodeterminethereasonfortheservicedenial andtakethe next appropriate action as necessary
- Regularresearchinvolvingboththeinternetandbillingsystems
- Useofvariousonandofflinemethodsforfollowinguponoutstandingclaims
- Ensurebillingrecordsaremaintainedinaconfidentialmannerandincompliancewithprivacy and documentation procedures.
- Meetorexceeddailyproductionstandards

Experience, Education and Qualifications:
- 1+yearofexperienceinA/R,Billing,insuranceorhealthcare;abackgroundinLaboratory insurance billing preferred
- HS Diploma Required
- Workingknowledgeofappropriatecodingsystems;CPT,ICD-10andHCPCS,coverage; LCD/NCD and Payer Medical Policies associated with such codes.
- ProficientinMicrosoftOutlook,Excel,Word,theInterandIntranetandother programs/software as necessary.
- Workingknowledgeandhands-onexperienceofmedicalbillingandreimbursement.
- Problemsolvingskills,usinggoodjudgment,ATTENTIONTODETAILANDFOLLOWTHROUGH ARE A MUST
- Abilitytomulti-taskandworkinafastpacedenvironmentwithoutgettingdistracted
- Self-starterwiththeabilitytoworkindependentlybutalsoabletoworkonateamandtakedirection
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
