**Job Title:** Research Marketing Lead
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Location**: Remote
**The Role**
We’re looking for a Research Marketing Lead to own how our research, benchmarks, and technical work are positioned, launched, and adopted across the AI ecosystem.
You’ll work closely with our research team to turn technical work into high-impact launches that earn attention, adoption, and citations. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our research and methodology, shape positioning and narratives, establish a high quality bar for publication, and build go-to-market strategies that put our work in front of the right researchers, developers, AI labs, and technical audiences.
**What You'll Do**
1. Own research GTM end-to-end, developing launch and distribution strategies for research, benchmarks, evaluations, and other technical work.
2. Establish the publication-readiness bar for research and benchmarks, partnering with researchers to ensure methodology, claims, results, and supporting materials are rigorous, clear, and defensible before launch.
3. Develop positioning and narratives that translate complex technical findings into clear, differentiated stories without sacrificing technical accuracy or depth.
4. Identify high-impact research opportunities by understanding emerging AI trends, open questions, competitive research, and what matters to researchers and practitioners.
5. Shape research packaging and distribution, including research pages, benchmark releases, technical content, launch materials, and other assets that drive discovery and usage.
6. Build relationships across the AI research ecosystem, including researchers, AI labs, developers, technical communities, and influential practitioners.
7. Drive adoption of our research and benchmarks, identifying the audiences, communities, and channels most likely to use, reference, and build on our work.
8. Measure research impact, tracking adoption, citations, engagement, usage, and qualitative feedback to understand what resonates and where our work is creating value.
9. Create feedback loops between the market and research, bringing ecosystem insights back to the research team to inform future benchmarks, evaluations, and research priorities.
**What We're Looking For**
1. Experience marketing, launching, or driving adoption of technical research, AI/ML products, developer products, benchmarks, evaluations, or similarly complex technical work.
2. Strong track record developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical audiences.
3. Ability to deeply understand technical work and translate it into clear, credible, differentiated positioning and narratives.
4. Strong understanding of the AI/ML research ecosystem, including major labs, research trends, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical communities.
5. Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both highly technical and broader audiences.
6. Strong analytical judgment and the ability to evaluate whether technical claims, supporting evidence, and research materials are ready for external publication.
7. Experience building relationships with researchers, technical leaders, developers, or AI communities.
8. High ownership and the ability to take ambiguous initiatives from strategy through execution.
9. Strong cross-functional skills and the ability to work closely with researchers while maintaining a high bar for technical accuracy and quality.
**Preferred**
1. Background in AI, machine learning, computer science, or another technical field.
2. Experience at an AI lab, AI-native company, research organization, developer-focused company, or highly technical startup.
3. Experience working directly with research teams and technical leadership.
4. Familiarity with academic publishing, AI benchmarks, evaluations, citations, and research dissemination.
5. Experience launching technical content or research that achieved meaningful adoption, citations, community engagement, or industry impact.
